An "old brasserie"-style bar in the Saint-Henri hood, it have gained a serious 'hispter/young' crowd in the last few years.
While they do offer the "classic brasserie" beer (50), they have a nice variety - albeit small - of lagers that will keep your mouth happy. Or if beer ain't your type, their cocktails are really interesting: I highly recommend the 'Dark 'N Stormy' (Saint-James brun, Lime, Ginger beer).
If you want to grab a bite, they got you covered with the usual pub food: paninis, chili or chips.
The noise can get a bit noisy on week-end nights, so don't expect a lot of conversation after 10pm. But otherwise, they have an interesting scene life with band nights, and other cool activities.

The margarita was really bad - tasted like watery tequila with no lime. Quite simply not a good margarita and the waitress wasn’t helpful when we mentioned that it was too strong and we wanted a bit more lime. White the other cocktail was better, it still was pretty average. Felt like a huge overpay for $14 a drink.
I’d avoid this place personally but perhaps it’s fine if you’re just looking for a beer. There was no live music when we went but maybe it’s better...
Read moreSaint-Henri's popular "dive bar" but not actually though. Prices are too high to be a dive bar. Still, it's got a classic divey Montreal Tavern ambiance. First off, the bartenders/barmaids are really nice and not pushy for tips like in many Montreal bars. The beer selection is varied to suite many tastes and they make great cocktails. There are some snacks and charcuterie to be ordered but this is by no means a restaurant.
They also host different events throughout the week. Hockey night when the Habs play. Open Mic on Sunday. Bands and DJs will play shows here too. Music is usually very...
