Food: top quality, meat is always cooked perfectly and the dishes are well balanced with 2 types of salad, bulgur, grilled pepper, meat and fries. The portions are big. Lentil soup used to be good, they changed the recipe, it is very bad now.
Service: it is very bad! I’ve been coming to this restaurant since its opening when it used to be called Cappadoce then changed owner and now it is alaturka, and service has been excellent until they brought in a lady who doesn’t offer a professional service, she goes by feeling. If she likes you then you will be well served, if she doesn’t like you, she will always smile to you because it is all about appearances but will give you the worst service ever: one time she didn’t want to change the soup until I insisted (the soup used to be a good lentil soup but they decided to make it lighter and put a thick layer of melted butter on top which make it just unhealthy with a strong taste), another time, we were 3 persons ordered 3 dishes, she brought in only 2 and make the third person wait forever because she “forgot to make the 3rd order” even though the restaurant was not that busy. After finishing our meals, she came and asked if she can clear the table, we said yes then she cleared only 2 plates and left the 3rd forever.
Overall restaurant has a great potential but I think that the manager/owner would better keep a close eye on the service otherwise it would probably ruin the...

We ordered lahm ajoun, a chicken doner sandwich, a beef doner plate, and kunafah
Beef doner plate: The beef tasted somewhat good, but the portion was small, and even the bulgur was insufficient. It’s not worth the price
Chicken doner sandwich: It was cold and came with only 10 fries! Nearly $16 for what?
After 30 minutes, we asked the server about our lahm ajoun, which we hadn't received. We wanted to cancel it, but she responded that it was made but they didn’t know who ordered it and could not cancel it. She brought it to our table, cold and seemingly made yesterday!
Kunafah: It came swimming in water, yes in water, and when we tried it, there was barely any cheese! $10 for what?
Not recommended at all, not...
Read moreThis evening we went to this little hidden resto called Alaturca, i have to admit that I was so surprised with quality of the ingredients and the final result. The service was perfect, the waitress was very attentive on our happiness. The place was so clean and smells good. I can't stop to say that I was very impressed. I have to come back for the baklava because you had not, but to try more dishes. Soup was awesome, the salad was so soft and the vinegar so light, everything so fresh!!! Thanks a lot for that.
