Luck! Sometimes driving by a resto and craving pho in not a typical neighborhood for pho delivers a good dose of good luck...I took a chance and what great luck! Truly one of the best pho in Montréal. Real tender rare beef in a seriously homemade pho beef broth. The rare beef was so tender and just made this meal exquisite, a true delight! All of the accompanying bean sprouts, lime quarters and chilli pepper were fresh and vibrant including the uberfresh unblemished basil! This pho was benchmark. The goi coun fresh shrimp roll was not a big impressive one but a powerful small package of freshness and flavours where the underlying mint bursts through, showing that this is a roll that was made in the special way that many Montréal restos have forgotten to make properly.
