I tried many things there. I love the coffee, mocha is my favorite for the winter. Almond croissant is amazing, sooo good. Madeleines cookies are so delicious with many flavors that you can't normally find where else. Chocolate cake is to die for as well as the Paris crest. The brownies are so soft, chewy, and moist, yummy.

The only problem I have that I deduct 1 star for is that their price is so inconsistent. They don't display price for all the items, and it seems like the staffs don't remember all the price so they just make it up or something even though there's a price sheet in their counter.

For example, sometimes my mocha is charged at $3.90+tax sometimes at $4.50+tax. I kept the receipts to make sure if this was correct. Same as some of the pastries items. It feels a little sketchy and dishonest when they do that to customers. I feel like overcharged but I don't know the correct price, so I can say nothing đŸ€·đŸ»â€â™€ïž. Does everyone else notice this issue when they go to this...

We were leaving from Montreal for a trip and we decided to stop at the Boulangerie "Pain a tartan" to buy coffee and something to eat in the road. We live relatively close, 20 minutes walking distance, but we had never been to this place in Ontario before and we liked it. The place is very cozy, with a charming and fun decoration, with good options of sweets, quiches and the breads, we bought baguette and a sweet bread to taste and it was really tasty. The coffee is also good, we would prefer little stronger and the service was fast and helpful. Looks like they also have Vegetation and Vegan options. When we can we would go back and try other options.

I absolutely love this bakery! I’ve visited multiple times, and every experience has been wonderful. Their almond croissant and madeleine are my go-to treats—they’re always fresh, flavorful, and perfectly made. The latte is also fantastic; even though it’s a bakery, their coffee is seriously good and pairs perfectly with their pastries. On occasion, I’ve picked up a baguette, and it’s always delicious—crispy on the outside and soft on the inside.

The moment you walk in, the smell of freshly baked goods is incredible—it’s so inviting and comforting. The staff is friendly, the quality is consistently top-notch, and the whole experience is just delightful. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for great baked...

I stayed in Montréal for a month, and this is the bakery I visited most often. It's also recommended by a local. I highly recommend trying their baguette. The chewy texture is perfect, with an amazing wheat aroma and a delightful sour aftertaste. I love their canelé too. The first time I bought it, it was super crispy on the outside and soft and moist inside, it was heavenly! However, it wasn't quite as crispy in subsequent purchases, but it's still very good. The madeleine is excellent as well. The éclair is tasty and not too sweet. Nice Croissant. Also love their logo and atmosphere in the store.

Looked for an early Saturday morning fresh bread, and got what I wanted. It's not that cheap ($7.30), however, the taste and freshness are heaven! Service was good (as I was unsure which bread to pick up). Also, they are aware of environmental, when offering you paper vs. plastic beg. Ideally I I could, I would have given 4.5 points, per the high price. Other than that, this was a great experience.
