November 2023 update: If you are looking for a great "Third Place" to have a coffee and see friends this is your "Go To" location. I have seen a serious uptick of guests in B Hive over the past few months. As winter rolls into Montreal, we need places to go when it snows, right?? B Hive has become a real success and the fact that the shop is usually Full is the proof. Come and BE a BEE in the HIVE. ************ Since the B Hive Café has opened, we have seen a steady stream of customers. If you wish to work remotely, play a game of chess, catch up with friends, or read a good book, this is the place that will welcome you to sit, enjoy, AND stay for a while. The indoor Café now boasts an outdoor terrace to enjoy your goodies, out in the open for some good people-watching, or catching up with friends, over a coffee, or any of the other fantastic treats being served. The newest Coffee shop in The Forum Complex. The shop will open on April 15, 2023, this coming Saturday. There will be lots of coffee, conversations, and goodies. So come and welcome the newest addition to the Forum Complex. The shop is very chic, and stylish. With comfy seating at bar stools and on tables around the shop. There is a bright service area, new flooring, and wall coverings, including Neon signs and plants hanging from the ceiling. It is a very stylish presentation. I am sure you will agree. I stopped into B Hive today for a photo safari and got myself a tasty milkshake. The menu is diverse and there is something for everyone. There are tasty treats and a cooler with drinks on offer as well. B Hive is located on the ground floor next to Mandy's Salads. You can park on Ste. Catherine's Street, if you are lucky enough to find a spot or in the forum garage. The shop is across the street from Cabot Square the Atwater kiosk and the Metro tunnel. The cafe is a very nice space if you want to relax and work on your laptop. There have been a good amount of folks working or just surfing the net. Meanwhile enjoying a B Hive goody!!! Now OPEN the terrace for outdoor dining and conversation. It is pictured here and has shade covering as well. The terrace is a pretty space to enjoy this Summer. B HIVE Coffee at The Forum.

Here ate BHive café, I've notice that customer service is more respected then ANY coffee shop I've visited so far. Never a singular day in my life have I've experienced the meaning of "politeness, respect, caring, and hard work" as this much. Not to mention the decoration of a beehive that surrounds this shop. They also have cultur which is a nice touche to the decorations. Speaking about decorations, the food is decorated in a way that makes me even more hungry then I was before entering the shop. It makes me sad that I don't see a lot of people coming here. BHive café should be a world class coffee shop and not just a small beauty ignored by the population. After all my personal opinion Is that BHive café should be known By all and not just a small fraction of people but you know what?. A coffee shop isn't a coffee shop If it isn't comfy, and if it was too crowded I wouldn't have gaved it 5 stars if I wasn't relax. Thank you✨

Good options for dining in or takeaway. Several coffee options, packaged lunch, and cakes. Many vegetarian options were available for savoury and sweet selections. Various seating areas that have high or low chairs, couches, and larger tables. There are limited outlets, mostly where the few larger tables are located along the walls. Coming at off-peak or bringing an extension cord might be necessary if using a laptop. The decor is cute with a very relaxed atmosphere. The staff were friendly and efficient. Overall, this cafe is a good choice for casual snacks and coffee with friends.

B Hive has become a real success and the fact that the shop is usually Full is the proof.

Come and BE a BEE in the HIVE.

Since the B Hive Café has opened, we have seen a steady stream of customers. If you wish to work remotely, play a game of chess, catch up with friends, or read a good book, this is the place that will welcome you to sit, enjoy, AND stay for a while.

As someone who has frequented Bhive to study, I’m beyond disappointed with the treatment I’ve received. Over the past few days, I’ve felt constantly watched by a specific staff member who would come close to where I was sitting, making it obvious that he was monitoring me. This made me incredibly uncomfortable.

I’ve never spoken to or bothered this individual, nor have I caused any trouble during my visits. Despite this, he has consistently targeted me with rude remarks. During my most recent visit, after arriving at 9:50AM to study, I planned to order when I was ready. By 11:15 AM, he came up to me in front of everyone and said, “You’ve been here for five hours and haven’t ordered—go ahead and place your order .” Meanwhile, other customers nearby who hadn’t ordered were ignored. Once, when I took out a small snack, he returned to say I couldn’t eat “outside food,” clearly trying to push me out.

So, if you ever think about studying for a bit and ordering later, don’t. This man( a bald man in his 40s who frequently walks around the cafe maybe the manager)will push you to order right away or make you leave, no matter how respectful or quiet you are.

This behavior paints an image of greed and a money-hungry focus on profiting off students, which directly contradicts the supportive and welcoming environment they promote on their website. Bhive markets itself as a space for growth and community, yet my experience tells a completely different story.

I understand that running a café involves making a profit, but Bhive’s location near a school means students naturally come to study. Instead of fostering a positive atmosphere for productivity, this staff member’s actions highlight a clear lack of professionalism and respect. It feels as though their priority isn’t building community, but squeezing as much money as possible out of students.

I sincerely hope management takes this feedback seriously. Bhive has the potential to be a truly great space, but behavior like this alienates customers and damages the values they...

They gave me HALF of a waffle when I ordered waffles. I find the people working there giggle and laugh at the customers. There is no speciality. The washroom is dirty. There is nothing that stands out here and it’s quite pricey for dry sandwiches. They really need to improve.

NOW: below you will see THEIR response. And this review does not allow me to comment. My friend stated I ordered a crepe. I went to the cashier to make sure my initial order: it was a waffle. I never ate a crepe in my life. They did correct it, but from what I know, the CREPE was paid for which was supposed to be a waffle so it was not free. The girls laugh at me when I go there, and most of the time I go there the owner is not there. He did not respond to that. I am extremely honest. The TOILET is not clean. I have never seen a “presentation” of a waffle that is half. The picture was a waffle. I expected a waffle. 🧇 like an actual waffle. This is my review. Do not try to say I’m dishonest. That in an of itself is totally false. The toilet can be cleaner. The waffle could be full for $20 with tax. And the girls could be a little nicer. I go there with someone who has special needs. Many times they ignored him when he said hello. Many times they start laughing when he hugs me. How am I being dishonest? I’m in Canada, mind you. I am allowed to say the truth. Please apologize for saying something about my tone and not being honest-this is not a false claim. Where did I make a false claim? I said the truth. The review stays. I’m allowed to say what I want cause it’s a review that is true. I said nothing false. In fact what you wrote is false about my tone and false claim. That...
