Been regularly getting their cheese bread and freezing them at home for later use. I had been going to the store for 3 years. Was very happy with the cheese bread til one day I got a loaf that despite being labeled cheese bread had no cheese, and tasted like plain old bread. When I went back to the store, hoping to get it exchanged I was met with an abrupt refusal. The "manager" pretended not to speak basic english, told me that she could see cheese on the bread and I should have come back sooner (I usually get several loafs and freeze some for later use, this particular loaf was the only cheese less one). Despite my attempt of reaching out to the head office, I did not succeed in getting my loaf exchanged; instead I was told that the bakers did add cheese to the dough mixture. I don't dispute that cheese was added but think the cheese might not have been thoroughly mixed or evenly spread which probably resulted in some loaves being overly cheesy and others not at all. On a side note I also used to get some desserts there, but for the past couple of months the quality has been going downhill (started before my bread incident) All good things come to an end when it comes to Premiere Moisson, my $$ will be spent elsewhere...their loss (a photo of a slice of the cheese less cheese bread is attached)... @premieremoisson: NO NEED for your PR response on here, as I've already unsuccessfully dealt with your head office as...
Read moreDo Not! I repeat do not go to this bakery when there are so many good ones around! I just recently bought a loaf of cheese bread and it was disgusting, gummy and undercooked. No texture like bread at all. It is not the first time I have purchased a loaf of cheese bread there and they were always excellent. When I brought the loaf of bread back to the store to point this out, I was told that it was the cheddar that made the whole texture of the bread flat and gummy. I was not offered a refund or even an exchange. I said don't bother, I don't want my money back. I live in the neighbourhood and will not be going back there....Don't waste your time at this place, the only thing they have going for them is indoor seating. If you want to have really good pastries or bread, I suggest Guillaume or Brioche a tete and bring them home....BTW if you purchase pastries there I suggest you ask if they were made the same day.....Some advice to PM, if you can't make something well, just stop instead of...

While exploring the charming streets of Montreal, we stumbled upon Boulangerie Première Moisson, and I must say, "wonderful" barely does it justice. This bakery is anything but little; the extensive selection of baked goods is truly impressive! Everything looked and smelled amazing, and the taste certainly lived up to expectations.
The store itself was clean and well-organized, with beautiful displays that made browsing a delightful experience. What really stood out was the exceptional friendliness of the employees, who were eager to help and share recommendations.
In a city filled with bakeries, Boulangerie Première Moisson truly shines as a standout spot. I highly recommend stopping by if you're in the area—you won't be...
