An unforgettable night. But unfortunately not in a good way. After having bought a ticket for the low low price of 17CAD (not), we still had to wait outside in the freezing cold for – I kid you not – more than an hour. This 30 meter pilgrimage really put my friends and me in the shoes of the Nova Zembla expeditioners. Not only did one of my friends almost lose two of her fingers and her big toe to the cold (you can still see the frostbite in the attached picture), but two other pilgrims got so sick of the waiting they threw up – both of them on the same car. This got us really upset. Along with this, certain people apparently believed they were more entitled to get out of the cold sooner, so they made no issue of cutting in line – and in so doing also cutting into our weather-battered souls.
This life-threatening wait could have been easily excused if it had actually been busy – and thus worth it – inside. However, after entering Café Campus we were shocked by the deadness of the place. These people seriously made us (1) buy a ticket, (2) wait 1 hour in the cold to finally (3) dance in a dead club with – if I may put it mildly – less than tasteful music. The density of sexual predators was also astounding. It's a miracle none of our group had fallen prey to these beasts.
The only reason for the second star is the one song of ABBA that was eventually played; probably due to a misclick of the DJ.

Read moreI regret to inform you that our recent visit to this establishment was nothing short of a harrowing ordeal. It is my firm belief that my acquaintance fell victim to a gross injustice in the form of blatant discrimination. For reasons unbeknownst to us, the security personnel relentlessly scrutinized our every move from the very moment we crossed the threshold. To further exacerbate this distressing situation, my friend, brimming with unbridled joy, decided to rest against a meager railing. Prior to this seemingly innocuous act, there existed a multitude of individuals who had also chosen to avail themselves of the railing's comfort or even perched upon it with reckless abandon.
However, the wheels of fate took a sinister turn, as my companion was subjected to the unfathomable indignity of being unceremoniously apprehended by not one, but two security guards. To add insult to injury, there was no reasonable cause to justify this egregious act, as the sole offense committed by my friend was, indeed, the act of being forcibly removed from the premises by these heavy-handed enforcers. This incident is a stark testament to the disheartening injustice that unfolded before...
