EDITED: The restaurant also fails to recognize their own faults, lack of reflection to improve their restaurants. Plus, if you want to open a restaurant in Montreal, you should learn to be bilingual :), Avoid this restaurant at all cost. So many problems with this establishment, I am surprised and never had this experience. 1) The waiters didn’t have a strong communication skills 2) price change: They overcharged us the food and the drinks (+2$ +4$ for the drinks and around +2$ for the food) The waiter kept saying it’s the government that changed the price in the system so they cannot control it. We deserved to be charged the amount that was displayed on the menu. We clearly said that if there is a price change, it is appropriate to change the price in the menu instead of giving costumers some dumb excuses. They couldn’t justify themselves. It was almost a scam. A waiter eventually handed us a 10$ bill but didn’t apologize. 3) They forgot one of our orders and didn’t get the drink right. Was very unapologetic. 4) Very unorganized, very slow service for an empty restaurant. We were unsure of who’s the waiter who is not. The employees were even insulting us and being sarcastic if we wanted the food for free. They were yelling and swearing in front of the kids, creating a scene. The restaurant felt like it was run by a child. This establishment should not be welcomed in a friendly neighbourhood of St Hubert.

We went on a gorgeous day and took full advantage of their beautiful, large outdoor area. There's nothing like having a drink on a terrasse in the sun, and with a large drink menu of signature cocktails, classic cocktails, wine, beer, and non-alcoholic beverages, we definitely had a great time. We also enjoyed the comfortable and festively decorated interior, with murals that capture the essence of the restaurant. The creatively and exquisitely prepared dishes we selected were all aesthetically pleasing and created a rush of tastebud-stimulating flavors. The ceviche, in particular, is highly recommended. Special thanks to our extremely friendly, helpful, and patient waitress—an example of exceptional service.

I'm seeing a lot of negative reviews yet I loved this place... I thought the place was a bit pricy but I had some of the best empanadas ever...even the salad that came with them was delicious! And I forgot the name of this meal I had but it had fries, tomatoes, onions, rice and a delicious sauce! The picture doesn't do it justice, it was a dark and gloomy day but this meal had me dancing in my seat and the two waiters and the cook seemed so happy to simply just exist that it made my experience even better! Can't wait to go back!

TL:DR, it's okay but try it for yourself. I have read several reviews before dinning-in twice and they are accurate: this is N0T and Authentic Peruvian cuisine! For an authentic plate from Perú there's are several others establishments on the same street and nearby.

However the rest is better, for the most; staff is very friendly, the Causa cón Pulpo is a must try, the Squid Fettuccini is also a delice (despite it not being traditional Peruvian dish) the Papa à la Huancaina sauce is on top, but there is no Aji de Gallina on the menu (a very popular Peruvian dish!) the Lomo Saltado is stirred on a Wok as opposed to the traditional large pan stir fry (salteado), the waiting time is very long (about 30min even for a starter and we were not served at the same time bit times I went), we received the exact same plates but another table was complaining that within their three Squid Causa: one was missing the Peruvian corn, and another had double the Squid seafood which warrant the uneven quantity of food served or omissions in others reviews thereof. Around 9h38 pm the kitchen did not take any new orders because after 10pm it is drinking only and Latino Hip Hop music too loud for the small restaurant. Free tap water also stops after 10pm

I returned during the Final of COPA America 2024, the ambiance was great, the Causa & Papas were great, the Pisco Sour was a disaster: it was colorless and tasted like water, felt like a rob for $14+tax and tips. I was not allowed for an alfajores dessert after 10pm because the kitchen closed, even if it is stashed in a cookie jar. Watching a sports over there event is...

After all the marketing and advertising on Facebook I thought this restaurant was amazing like it looks in their pictures and videos they post online. Unfortunately I had the chance to visit this restaurant on Friday June 17th with some friends. I was very disappointed by the lack of service, it took forever to get serve the waiter was lost and forgot our drinks, utensils, etc. he was very disorganized and it wasn’t busy at lunch time. Regarding the food nothing to envy the other Peruvian restaurants in the area, it was very salty and it did not reach the standards of Peruvian food. For a restaurant advertising Peruvian food I would not recommend to anyone. I am Peruvian and honestly there are better restaurants where the service is better and the prices are good. This was the second and last time I will go to this restaurant. If you want to waste your money and be disappointed go ahead and eat here otherwise I would recommend Pachamama, Barranco, chifa, Tiradito and...
