Absolutely splendid location. And for a multitude of reasons. This is a great spot in Montreal, Canada to go to for classic French tasting croissants. In addition to that, they have an amazing selection of hot and cold drinks. A must try if you are in the city of Montreal. Not only do they have croissants available in store, they have tons of drinking options. Menu can be located right near the pictures with all of the selections that they offer. They offer espressos, allonge, americano, macchiato, cortado, cappuccino, latte, mocha, chai latte, hot chocolate, matcha latte, and of course the classic Canadian "double-double". The coffee was a splendid choice to combine with a croissant amidst the chilly Canadian morning during this autumn season. I also love the fact that they outline the shape of a heart figure right on top of the coffee, that is definitely some skill! Their yogurt with berries was marvelous. Fresh, added with organic chia seed texture, and a hint of naturally occurring sugar in the variety of berries included. This place also has a lounge for many to chill out, do personal work, academic or professional projects, and is a great spot to come eat and socialize. Another great factor that makes this coffee shop suitable for work or leisure is that they provide the WiFi password upfront on their board so it makes it easy for the customers to log in. Followed along with easy to find parking, this makes this spot an easy to choose...
Read moreEDIT: The business owners took the time to thoughtfully respond and I appreciate this a lot. As such, my review reflects the quality of management and the food/service now, and not Montreal's stupid regulations in regards to animals, nor ill-willed customers who have nothing better to do than to play stool-piegon on others. Thanks for the kind response. I'm disheartened but I have to amend my review of this place, 2.5 years in. I'm not sure what killjoy is responsible, staff, visitor or the City of Montreal, but they abruptly decided dogs were no longer allowed in. My influence on this place is obviously small, and I'm sure they won't notice the absence of my 20-30$ weekly habit, but they won't have it anymore. I'm admittedly a person who works a lonely job from home, and getting my weekly coffee here with my dog was one of my highlights of my week; a welcome balm which gave me opportunity to socialize and indulge in some local treats, and to support a local business that I loved. (the food is still great, don't get me wrong.) To my knowledge, most local dog owners would go here and it's a huge loss to our community who already struggles in this animal-unfriendly city. Either way, not to pull too much of a Karen here, it would have been nice to get an explanation beyond "we got complaints" for a customer that's been going in for literal years, twice a week. Guess it doesn't matter. Anyway, I won't...
Read moreOn our recent trip to Montreal we knew we could not leave the city without indulging in some croissants and chocolatines. We are vegan and were excited to see that Croissant Croissant had vegan versions of both of these items. I can honestly say that I have probably never had a better croissant than the ones from Croissant Croissant, vegan or otherwise. They were so beautifully buttery and crispy that it made me wish I lived in Montreal so that I could have one every day. The vegan croissants and chocolatines are thankfully comparably priced to the non- vegan versions. I am always very grateful when there isn't a steep markup for the vegan options. They were so fairly priced that we were able to grab a few more for the road and to take home to family. Merci beaucoup Croissant Croissant, we will certainly be back on our next trip...
