Way overpriced!! And I'm talkin by experience because it appeared that I do sushi myself and the way they keep the tartare is weird you have fly that goes all over the fish??...and it appear that what you get in your bowl is not the same at all as what you see on the picture. If you put four pieces of avocado on the picture you cannot put only one piece in the bowl. The owner is really cheap on the portion. And I could almost feel something weird there the vibe?? right away when I got in. The first cashier left right away when I spoke to her in French and the second one never look in my eyes. I am not normally the type to go out of my way to write a review. However, this is a well deserved review. I ordered their grilled eel poke (one of the few places that offer this option) with a side of shrimp tempura via UberEats and I LOVED IT!!!

1. Perfect combination of rice and mixed greens. I personally don’t like too much rice.

2. They followed my notes. I had asked for no edamame and mango.

3. Every bite was fresh and delicious. I loved that they added a slice of lemon because it added an extra flavour to my bowl.

Moi et ma conjointe commandons fréquemment chez Poké Bol Mont-Royal: c'est tout près et la qualité ne nous a jamais déçu. Bien que ce ne soit pas le top des poké bols que j'ai goûtés, le prix est en fonction du contenu et on en a pour son argent (mes "top" poké bols coûtaient beaucoup plus cher!).

Les ingrédients sont frais, variés et bien balancés : rien ne vient prendre toute la place. On voit qu'ils ont réfléchi à la composition et qu'ils ne font pas du remplissage avec des ingrédients peu coûteux (comme j'ai vu à certains autres endroits).

Moi qui aime particulièrement le poisson cru, on peu toujours en ajouter un extra pour un coût raisonnable.

Dans son créneau, ce petit resto mériterait 5 étoiles mais un irritant me fait en enlever une : cette nouvelle manie qu'ont plusieurs d'ajouter le pourboire automatiquement au terminal de paiement, qu'on se sent mal de retirer et qui demande plusieurs étapes à enlever.

Soyons clair: normalement le pourboire est pour un service à la table ou la livraison, pas pour une commande à apporter. Je ne vois pas en quoi la caissière qui a pris 2 minutes pour prendre ma commande devrait recevoir 15% du chiffre d'affaire du restaurant. En plus, ce 15% est calculé automatiquement après taxes, ce qui n'est pas normal non plus!

En ces temps difficiles, j'ai souvent tendance à ajouter un pourboire, même sur une commande à apporter, pour encourager nos commerces locaux et en espérant qu'il est partagé par tous les employés... mais jamais quand il m'est enfoncé dans la gorge.

En bref: petit resto avec un bon accueil, qualité/prix indéniable, ingrédients frais : je le recommande! Mais svp, changez les paramètres de votre terminal de paiement pour les pourboires (pour qqc du genre "ajouter...
