Let’s be clear here, this is not an eat in place it’s for take outs hence one star for atmosphere. Service is very nice and accommodating and prompt as you are in a line. Food is excellent and fresh. They sell by the pound as well as lunch combos.

Let’s break this down. I’ve eaten here for years with 100% consistency. I have never been let down.

Unless you go to Chinatown or other distant old school Chinese places this one of the authentic and reasonably priced delicious places to get this type of cuisine. Lunch time people come in non stop to get food to bring home and eat lunch - like I did in the car.

So, they have pork sausage, duck, wings, and then pork ribs and pork from various parts of the body - you select what you want.

I have tried all and they are all yummy, but for me the absolute delight is the crispy pork with that crunchy skin and tender meet. They give you a dip but it really does not need any other flavouring.

Try it and you’ll fall in love with this no nonsense place that serves honest to goodness home made food at...

Hong Kong styled BBQ is a specialty cuisine in demand all over the world. Dak Hing is an excellent choice. Good BBQ pork are chosen cut, marinated and roasted, then dipped into honey syrup. When finished cooking, the appearance should have tiny burn at ends and shinny in appearance. When cut open, it has to present layers of taste, honey roasted texture and be juicy inside. Of course, there should be a fantastic sense to stimulate your appetite. Expect nothing less if you are serious to look for the best charshiu in town. Use the above as a criteria, and you will be able to figure out the best shop in town yourself. You be the judge. I came to this place many years ago out of curiosity. I met the owner's wife. I asked her all kind of questions about food allergy and asked her about the ingredients in detail. She was very friendly and answered my questions one by one. This is a family owned business originally from Toishan, 台山老華僑. We always buy BBQ pork, crispy skin roast pork and BBQ Duck from this place since then, no...

Located on Van Horne near Victoria Ave in Montreal, very close to Montreal Jewish General Hospital where my dear dad lived his last remaining years, so access is very easy via Decarie Expressway or by the Metro. Whenever I visited my dad at the hospital, I'd walk over here to get everyone lunch, they got great BBQ from roast duck ((燒鴨) to BBQ pork (叉燒), and all kinds of Cantonese BBQ braised yummies. You can get each by the pound or have a lunch bento box specials ~$15CAD, which is about $10USD, it's an amazing deal, and the lady owner is very friendly, each time I come back from California to visit my family, I always make sure to drop by to get some of the best BBQ outside of Hong Kong, Penang or GuanZhou. They braised their duck/chicken feet, roast pork, pig intestines etc in large batches, so there's no way you can recreate that yourself, besides it's not worth your while, just get them at Dak Hing, and tell them the Dude from...
