Filipino cuisine, homey and small restaurant.
Goti regular: rice porridge that tastes pretty bland, literally tastes like rice and water, no salt. The only flavors come from the meats (organ, hard-boiled egg, lechon), but it's not enough. The portion is big though.
Sizzling lechon kawali: the lechon is crispy but again, no seasonning, not even salt. The flavor mainly comes from the gravy that aslo keeps the lechon from being too dry. The java rice is well cooked, but not seasonned.
Pancit (large): This is a very good portion to share between two or more people. It was for the best dish and it's also my favorite dish in any filipino restaurant. There is a variety of toppings that comes with the noodles. Love it. Highly recommend this dish.
Pork bbq: pork meat grilled on skewers that have a sweet marinade and comesnwoth a sour sayce that pairs really well with it. The meat is juicy and fatty, cooked with the perfect amount of char for that smokey flavor.
Overall, they serve pretty good portions here, but some dishes don't taste much. The onlt dish I do recommend is the pork bbq...
Read moreIt’s my 2nd time to eat here. The first time, I ordered the Goto heaven & a takeout of the Crispy Sisig. The 2nd time, I ordered the Goto hell & a take out of the Maskara or the Crispy pork head. This restaurant offers authentic Filipino dishes but with a twist. I find this restaurant very inventive, giving a fun flare & twist to Filipino cuisine. The place is averagely presentable given that it’s located in Van Horne or Cote des Neiges area. It’s better than most Filipino restaurants in the area that looked like warehouses instead of restaurants (which means that those stacked up pile of food & beverage boxes are a soar in the...

Pros: A) The Inside looks nice and very well done it feels home. They also have a band night and things like that. B) The Food was really good and I enjoyed it a lot. C) The owner who was there that day was really nice and welcoming and even said whatever you need Let me know. What a leader that is and more people should be like him. D) The Prices are fairly reasonable.
Cons: A) Maybe Make the menu better by adding newer dishes and things like that but not but a lot. The current menu is fine and simple. B) Make it more French by learning the language.
Conclusion: I will be back again. The restaurant is a perfect example of How I want other establishments to look for.
