First of all, I would like to say that I am confused about the general decor inside this restaurant. If you have never been here, allow me to describe so you can imagine for yourself. Picture a mixture of clashing colors as well as loud art work that one could assume was selected by a blind man. Shameful. Now for my dining experience. Our server seemed normal until our food arrived at our table. My friend had ordered a smoked salmon platter hold the onions and capers. However this is not what arrived. When the server came to deliver the onion infested disaster he promptly realized he was being overpaid and chucked the onion over his shoulder hoping no one would notice. We did notice. Then he brazenly presented this steaming horror to her face and did not even offer to replace it with something else. My other friend somehow missed half his meal. He could have starved to death, and in fact afterwards we’re pretty sure he lost his job. Also when asking for rye, he seemed to forget how to speak English and resorted to staring. This new place is bigger, yay for them but it's lost the charm and feels industrial. This translates in the food, like they say, you eat with your eyes. So the decor is important and so is the presentation. But we enjoy our traditional dishes, eggs Benedict and French Toast sandwiches. Grade: Eli = 4, Serge = 4 Recommend: Yeah, try the Benedict and French Toast...
