Quite simply, among the most disgusting and rotten food we've ever been served.
From the exterior, it looks like a secluded, corporate law office. The interior is clean enough and has a banquet hall feel.
Upon seating, which was easy because the place was empty, we noticed immediately that all of the cutlery and glassware was filthy. Photos attached, we were shocked and had them replaced.
We ordered simple, standard dishes we were familiar with and it came fairly quickly. But the shock was instant...
The chicken samosas were piping hot - and one bite revealed that they were VERY rancid. The odor (stench really) was so strong it almost made me gag and I had a mouth full it!
We told the server, she took them away. Another dish she brought out (we don't know what it was, we didn't order it) was supposed to make up for the foul samosas. It didn't. We stirred it around in the bowl and it was just so unappealing that we didn't touch it. The butter chicken had clearly been from frozen and still was barely edible. We both had the distinct impression it came from a can.
Overall one of the worst dining experiences we've had. Filthy tableware, rotten meat portions and canned dishes are shameful.
We caught a peek inside the kitchen and almost threw up. We left and they insisted on charging us for food a dog wouldn't eat. Never, ever again.
Don't let the "grand ballroom" styling fool you. Tbis dump needs to be shut down, immediately.
We are big fans of Indian food but this experience almost killed it for us.
For real Indian food and an incredible treat, go to Maharani just a few...
Read moreWe went there first times with a few Pakistani friends, and overall we liked what we ate. We ordered specialized items like chicken chargah and daal chicken which were unique and was good enough that I decided to visit this place one more time.
2nd visit: ordered reshmi kabab, chicken karahi, chicken korma and naan.
Reshmi kabab: Literally chicken pieces dipped in yogurt and put in a grill. There was no salt, no spices, no taste whatsoever. Order served with 10-12 chicken pieces on a plate, no salad no sauce no chutney. Chicken were undercooked inside. I literally had to throw most of it away.
Chicken karahi: Karahi made in pakistan is my favourite dish. However, they used basic onion-tomato sauce to make this. Absolute garbage. And no, karahi is NOT made with onion whatsoever. It is clear that they use just one gravy for everything.
Chicken korma: EXACT same thing as karahi. I had leftover and I put both gravies in the same container. Absoubute garbage.
Naan: Was good but what's the point?
Service: There were two girls, one behaved ok, another girl threw straws on the table when she brought coke for us. Idk if it is frustration or the fact that we were Indians and she probably was not? Maybe she did it by mistake but overall I did not like it.
Final comments:...
Read moreWe went there for the ramadan buffet iftar . We made reservations and then we made it just on time for Iftar . First thing , we’ve been fasting all day and we didn’t expect them to have such trust issues to the point they would ask us to pay upfront before even sitting down .. but I guess it makes sense after we realised that the price is way more than it should be . We paid 28 dollars for the buffet . Drinks were not included , even though when I asked on the phone she said everything is included . The dessert was very awful and just one type of dessert ! It was like a rice pudding thing and not even on separate small cups.. no you have to scoop it up from one big bowl . There was two types of rice , salad , the nan was kind of elastic .. and some more types of main dishes . The appetisers were the best part , potatoes , sambousa and pokora . To be honest the food was OKAY but the experience was absolutely not worth 28 dollars … oh and when I asked for the wifi they said there is no password when there is obviously a password . If it was for 15 dollars I wouldn’t be writing this comment but for 28 I expected smth just a little bit better ! Also we were there at almost 8pm and at 9:45 they started closing everything and taking it back to...
