I usually get a cortado with oat milk and I have not been disappointed so far! They also have a really good vegan blueberry muffin but it’s always sold out. My biggest advice would be to provide more vegan pastries as they seem very popular. Service is friendly and quick. The coffee shop also sells so local / independent writers books and some coffee items (fancy coffee tumblers etc.) Prices are usual to what you would find in a similar coffee shop throughout the city (4$ for a cortado). Came today to buy 3 cookies because I always praise them to my colleagues and I wanted to surprise them. What a disappointment it was to realized that old cookies were sold to me… there were hard as rocks and flavorless. At least tell your clients that there is cookies from the day before and make a discount out selling them full price is not right. I’ve been going to cafes regularly in Montreal for about a decade and this is in my top 3, if not, the best espresso I’ve had in the city. The espresso in most coffee shops in our city is way too acidic and fruity, often tastes poorly brewed. The espresso at Diff is roasty, not burnt, tastes fresh and the acidity is very balanced.
