Wow, it's very rare now a days to find authentic Lebanese food because restaurants try to adjust flavor and spices to suit local market, however, this restaurant is very much adheres to the original recipes which I am familiar with in Lebanon. This is not a chain, it's a mom and pop restaurant and I must mention it's a self service restaurant. It's a generous helping of quality food at a very reasonable price. If you visit once, you are hooked. The owner is a very friendly person, the taste is exotic, the aroma brings nostalgic memories of Lebanon. I hope this owner، one day will open a full service restaurant so that you can enjoy a dinner party with friends and relatives. We are from the USA on vacation in Montreal and Quebec. I was told by a friend that there are many choices of Lebanese food in Montreal but he recommended this place for us. The location is not visible from the outside because it's located at the eatery section of the building mall. We went there late afternoon with my mom, wife and kids. We requested from the owner to make us few small plates from the main offerings including tabouleh, batata harrah, hummus, baba ghannouj, medardara, soujouk, kafta, shawarma beef and chicken, shish taouak and Lebanese sausages. The daily dish was fried milk fish with fried bread. Yes, it was unbelievable feast like no others. Every dish was outstanding, the fried fish was exceptional. You may try the same combination for you and your friends. You need at least five Lebanese hungry people to go thru this...

Read moreAfter passing by so many times I decided to try this place out because of all the good reviews.
They are open during pandemic for take-out, or dine-in if you have a vaccine passport.
Clean area, and the servers were very nice. I'm not sure if that was the owner that served me, but he was kind and after telling him this was my first time visiting explained to me the different foods and options.
I can say I got what I expected and more. I ordered the chicken and beef plate and I probably got at least two pounds of food! Enough for two people that's for sure. The food was high quality, although the beef had a good amount of fatty portions.
My plate had pepperoncini Peppers (I absolutely love those peppers and was glad to see them) some other indescript julienned vegetable (I surmise turnip or beet, maybe chayote), hummus, a mayonnaise-like sauce, rice, meat, and my two choices of side. Tabbouleh was obviously hand-made and fresh, better than what you buy in stores.
They also serve drinks and deserts.
Prices are about average for what you'd expect to pay for a meal.
I'd recommend trying this place if you...
