a little hard to find but the service and food were amazing!! the shawarma plate was well seasoned and was a great portion. the filet mignon was tender and cooked to medium doneness. the shishtaowk pita was flavorful and moist. the falafels pita was perfectly crispy and was not dry at all. overall the quality and price of our lunch was top tier. highly recommend visiting this place!

A hidden gem, this restaurant offers customers with the comfort of Lebanese food without denting the wallet. This shawarma-potato duo will bring anyone out of a sad mood because it is SO DELICIOUS. Looking for authentic shawarma in the city? Look no further, Farrouj Express has got you covered. The service is also authentically Lebanese which makes the experience that much better.

So amazing and so under-rated. The care this man has for his food is unequaled and it shows. All ingredients are fresh from the market every morning and the salads are prepared according to the season. For those who eat often enough, the difference with the other shawarma chain is night and day. May God bless him for the amazing food and love he serves out every day!

Wow, it's very rare now a days to find authentic Lebanese food because restaurants try to adjust flavor and spices to suit local market, however, this restaurant is very much adheres to the original recipes which I am familiar with in Lebanon. This is not a chain, it's a mom and pop restaurant and I must mention it's a self service restaurant. It's a generous helping of quality food at a very reasonable price. If you visit once, you are hooked. The owner is a very friendly person, the taste is exotic, the aroma brings nostalgic memories of Lebanon. I hope this owner، one day will open a full service restaurant so that you can enjoy a dinner party with friends and relatives. We are from the USA on vacation in Montreal and Quebec. I was told by a friend that there are many choices of Lebanese food in Montreal but he recommended this place for us. The location is not visible from the outside because it's located at the eatery section of the building mall. We went there late afternoon with my mom, wife and kids. We requested from the owner to make us few small plates from the main offerings including tabouleh, batata harrah, hummus, baba ghannouj, medardara, soujouk, kafta, shawarma beef and chicken, shish taouak and Lebanese sausages. The daily dish was fried milk fish with fried bread. Yes, it was unbelievable feast like no others. Every dish was outstanding, the fried fish was exceptional. You may try the same combination for you and your friends. You need at least five Lebanese hungry people to go thru this...

For anyone that has had the pleasure of visiting Lebanon, understanding and appreciating its cuisine is a major part of understanding its complex and rich culture. Farrouj Express understands it all...and it’s reflected in their fresh, delightful, authentic and always delicious dishes.

From their craveable specials of the day, to their delectable sandwiches, mezzes and desserts, it’s all deadly at Farrouj Express. They understand the subtle nuances that are involved in making each dish uniquely special and authentic all at the same time. They understand the importance of fresh ingredients and produce, correctly spicing, and cooking at the proper speed and temperature. They understand the details, which make their Lebanese cuisine something one will never forget and have a longing for in their culinary journey forever. In addition to their masterful food, it is a family managed and run affair at Farrouj Express. They are always kind, friendly, warm and generous people.

If you’re ever in the area (or from out of town) and have a hankering for Lebanese deliciousness...Look no further than Farrouj Express. I know I won’t. Looking forward to my next amazing meal there! Strongly...

After passing by so many times I decided to try this place out because of all the good reviews.

They are open during pandemic for take-out, or dine-in if you have a vaccine passport.

Clean area, and the servers were very nice. I'm not sure if that was the owner that served me, but he was kind and after telling him this was my first time visiting explained to me the different foods and options.

I can say I got what I expected and more. I ordered the chicken and beef plate and I probably got at least two pounds of food! Enough for two people that's for sure. The food was high quality, although the beef had a good amount of fatty portions.

My plate had pepperoncini Peppers (I absolutely love those peppers and was glad to see them) some other indescript julienned vegetable (I surmise turnip or beet, maybe chayote), hummus, a mayonnaise-like sauce, rice, meat, and my two choices of side. Tabbouleh was obviously hand-made and fresh, better than what you buy in stores.

They also serve drinks and deserts.

Prices are about average for what you'd expect to pay for a meal.

I'd recommend trying this place if you...
