I have been ordering pad thai chicken for half a year from this place weekly (since I live close by), and I have been treated very nice. But what happened today is beyond my acceptance.
I specifically asked for extra spicy but I received a product of non-spicy and to make it worse, it barely has any soy sauce and salt inside. I went back and ask about it, and the female cashier told me "Because we are so busy, we don't have any sauce left".
Well then, first you could have told me you had no sauce left, instead of letting me know only when I was getting back to you, given I even said "extra-spicy" explicitly. Second, you could at least apologize instead of trying to do your lengthy explanations, that would be fine and since I have ordered so many times from you guys, I totally understand it.
What actually triggered me is the way she is handling it afterwards. When I ask to switch it to any other dish, she is super reluctant. When I continue with switching to General Thai chicken she refuse and still repeating about the lacking of sauce --- Seriously , there are dozens of dish on your menu, and you can't find a single one that can replace my current one? I'm pretty sure the soup one doesn't require any of the 'sauce' you claimed.
Then I asked for a refund, and what she did is is so irritating. She claims that there is no cash --- But I paid through my credit card and you could simply perform a refund using the machine. I feel like she is just lying.
After I finally start to express clear upset about this, she now says "Oh maybe you can keep it and the next time you come here I will not charge you".
But I'm sorry, at this point it's too late, you already lost your customer.
Overall, what makes me so upset is the way she handles it. You could have simply apologized in the first place, and I will let it go--- I completely understand the situation given how many times I ordered. But she chose the non-cooperative, reluctant, and made me feel she is doing her best to avoid helping me.
It's quite 'astonishing' how she handled this case in the worst possible way.
I do have to say a big thank you to the chef and the other male cashier in the night shift, they were very nice people.
Thank you to those who treats their customer fairly. And I'm sorry, I won't...
Read moreI've been eating here for quite some time now, trying to find that dish that would satisfy my taste, and I found one. Sadly all of the others seem to be conceived without culinary vision; they seem to work when on paper, but once materialised into a dish a whole array of them seems dry and inconsistent, others wet but tasteless with ingredients fighting with each other. With my spouse I've double checked the taste of the soup, who described it as waste dishwater tasting, without any idea what was it's intention, whereas I detected a taste of Nestea mixed with a severly diluted st. Hubert sauce and was lacking will power to continue eating it. It saddens me to say, because the staff has always been friendly and impeccable, perhaps there is a way to get the food on the same level. So for now I give it 2 regular stars, hopefully in the future at least as many...
Read moreThe place is right by the main road opposite to the LaCite shopping building and next to PitaPit. Although the entrance is at street level, there is a flight of stairs once inside for those looking for info on access.
This was my second visit and I had the same dish both times - Fried rice with shrimp. Being Indian, my expectation when I ask for spicy is quite high. The rice ended up being okayish and the pine apple bits werent helping. Still delicious though and the prawns were cooked just right. I like the unlimited peaunut sides and the selection of sauces. I have no experience with cuisine from the south east but will definitely go again and try the other options.
The staff is alright. Not too friendly but then again, the language barrier makes it difficult to converse with people at most...
