I recently visited the Iranian bakery Gandom at NDG, and I must say they offer an extensive selection of Persian pastries and treats! 🥐🍰 While the prices are a bit on the higher side, the quality of their products is absolutely top-notch. 😍

What's interesting is that Gandom houses not just one but two businesses inside. This shows their ambitious approach and desire to grow in the industry. 🏪💼 With their dedication and commitment to providing the best, I'm confident they have a long way to go and will flourish in their journey.

Absolutely recommend! I went there today for the first time because my Persian friends kept talking about their pastries and their “barbari” bread. All I have to say is that Persians and this bakery definitely know how to make some unbelievably tasty pastries! I tried their barbari bread as soon as I got home, I could feel the freshness from the first bite, it was amazing. Surprisingly it wasn’t my favourite type of bread at Gandom ! Their “taftoun” was out of this world. It was like a pitta bread that’s 10 times more fresh and tasty. This bakery has mostly Persian sweets, from Persian ice cream, Persian donuts, cookies and a few selection of persian bread. It's a small place, but if your looking for something different and want to experiment Persian sweets this is the place, we went there a Sunday afternoon, we selected a few donuts, Persian pita (Taftoon) and Barbari Bread, the man behind the counter offered us sample of Persian ice cream which consists of saffron, cream, rose water and milk topped with ground pistachios.
