Terrible experience! The bartender was incredibly rude to us and even threw us out for no valid reason. We just asked if he has something with strawberry because he didnât give give us the menu. He refuses to serve us because we were all foreigners. Ima call the service protection des consommateurs for racisme. He say a lot of bad things about us. That was so đȘ Such disrespectful service is unacceptable. I do not recommend this bar
UPDATE:
Dear owner,
We asked 2 times before he gave us the menu. He doesn't even answer our hello. It's not the first time we've been to this bar, and the other bartender wasn't as mean as this one.
If you donât believe me Itâs ok if itâs good for youâre mental health đ A good owner should invest in training their employees because if multiple customers complain about the same issue, it indicates there is a real problem that needs to be addressed. Ignoring this feedback can show a lack of respect for diversity and the experiences of customers. And when I saw your answer I checked the feedback and youâre right itâs the same thing and the same person. As a person of color, ( if thatâs the truth)you understand how certain attitudes can be biased towards outsiders.
As a boss, it's natural for employees to be friendly with you, but that shouldn't translate into unfair treatment of customers. I encourage you to reflect on your behavior and take steps to create an inclusive and welcoming environment for everyone. In Montreal, discrimination is strictly prohibited under the Charter of Human Rights and Freedoms, particularly Articles 10 and 15, which ensure equal treatment and access to services for all. If a customer faces unjust treatment or is labeled a liar, this could constitute a violation of these rights.
Additionally, the Consumer Protection Act (Articles 1, 12, and 219) safeguards against unfair business practices....
Read moreSt Patrick's day should be fun right, well not here! Quietly sitting down enjoying drinks with friends the owner of the bar came over to us and verbally accosted us accusing one of us of being "sketch". At first I thought she had mistaken one of us for someone who was in earlier possibly had drank too much and caused problems, but no she pointed directly at one of us calling him sketchy. When we asked for an apology from her she came back with the saddest apology you could think of âIâm sorry if you felt I was being disrespectful, you can finish your drinks and leave". While we where trying to finish our drinks and get out she came by telling us she would bring the bouncers over to have us kicked out. Tables next to us witnessed this and spoke up against the owner to which she accused them of having a "gang mentality" tables next to us left because of the actions of the owner. PLEASE GUYS SPEND YOUR MONEY ELSEWHERE somewhere the owner appreciates your business. One thing that was positive from the experience was watching perfect strangers sticking up for each other when they see someone get bullied. ...
Read moreThe bar tender was super mean to us. I didnât tip him because I am a foreigner and I am getting used to that system. That is totally my fault. At first he looked at me super angry since I didnât tip him. So me and my friends apologised to him. I proposed him to repay the price of my drink so that I can tip him because I didnât have cash on me. He didnât accept. My friends tipped him and we all said sorry. But despite our efforts, he was really mean to us and his tone was really rude. He told me âthis is not your first time, we know you anywayâ as if I was a criminal or something he made me feel super bad. The whole idea of going to a bar is to chill after a work day. But the way he was treating us made me feel really nervous. When my friend went to talk to him afterwards he didnât apologise either about his tone. There is no reason to be mean with people, especially...
