Ke'Tortas — Restaurant in Montreal

Not as easy to find a good torta as tacos in this city, so this place caught my attention. The prices are a bit high for the casual look of the place, but the sandwiches are certainly sizable. This place has a very authentic Mexican feel to it- they even have their sweet breads on the side that you'll see everywhere in Mexico. Service was really good as well. Unfortunately I think I just chose the wrong type- the Nortena. Honestly I really wasn't feeling the presence of the ham or hot dogs, the western items thrown in there with the mexican ones was not doing it for me. Far worse though, I asked for no mustard and the sandwich still had it which really affected the taste for me. The salsas they offered helped somewhat. I will say though that they have one of the best horchatas I've had in Montreal. That was a redeemer. I would consider coming back to this place for another try if they might consider doing...

Was looking for a Mexican restaurant with more than like, two vegetarian options and this was that!

Easily made vegan! I got the vegetarian burrito with no cheese and it was yummy as hell. I love poblanos!!!

Server was great, very patient and actually helped me by asking if I’m a vegan bc they used to cooked their beans with beef fat. Attentive, forward thinking people like that are needed in this world. I wish I knew his name, he was really nice

El día de ayer 12 de julio acudí por segunda vez a comer a ke tortas, la primera ocasión fui con mi amigo ya que él me lo recomendó y la segunda visita fui con mi novio porque le platiqué del lugar. Aquí describo mis PUNTOS MALOS 1.- los precios si están un poco elevados en comparación con otros lugares, 2.- me llevaron tres botes de salsas, la cual la salsa de chipotle está ya fermentada echada a perder al tiempo de colocar la salsa en mi totopo y comerla, en mi boca se sentía como burbujas como si hubiera tomado refresco, eso indica que no tienen control de calidad de los productos ósea no checan caducidad porque claro cuando preparas alimentos y más en restaurantes debes colocar fecha de cuando lo elaboraste y cuando se debe cambiar, además algún encargado de cocina debe checar el estado de las salsas y comida si siguen en buen estado o no, 3.- mi novio pidió tacos de tripa y pidió la tripa dorada, más no quemada, su sorpresa fue cuando le dejan la charola olía a quemado da la primera mordida al taco y pues si la tripa estaba quemada la verdad por el hambre que traíamos y no querer esperar más así se comió los tacos, 4.- yo me pedí una orden de tacos de suadero la carne estaba buena, no seca pero oh sorpresa en un taco venía un pedazo grande de pellejo duro de la carne medio 🤢 el sentirlo en la boca.

PUNTOS BUENOS: 1.- proporción de la carne y demás elementos buena 10/10, 2.- aguas y demás excelente, solo una cerveza estaba media tibia, lo demás buena temperatura, 3.- el vuelve a la vida (aclaró los dos somos de costa) sabía más a cóctel que un vuelve a la vida era más dulce que tener el toque un poco picante pero igual proporción de ingredientes bueno.
