LA PAANVILLA RESTAURANT (CRESCENT) — Restaurant in Montreal

We went to this restaurant on Saturday night to grab some snacks for takeout, and it was a complete disaster. When we asked for the menu, the guy in the back started laughing like it was the funniest thing ever, and the front desk guy joined in. It felt so disrespectful. We were trying to inquire about a specific snack, but he couldn't be bothered to talk to us nicely—just kept laughing with his buddy in the back.

When I confronted them and asked for the manager, they gave me the lame excuse that he wasn't there. Seriously, how can you work without a manager? It’s ridiculous that the owner allows this. The front desk guy had such an attitude, folding his arms and saying they were just laughing at themselves. Like, we’re not dumb; we know when someone is laughing at us.

And when I tried to take my order, he barely paid attention. He mumbled something, and when I asked him to repeat it, he just shrugged it off. No apology, nothing. The only one who seemed decent was the girl who was actually trying to apologize for their behavior, but she didn’t even do anything wrong.

And to make matters worse, the food was absolutely pathetic! It was like they didn’t even care about what they were serving. This place needs to get their act together—having these idiots work without supervision is a recipe for disaster. They completely disrespected us and clearly don’t care about their job. We seriously wasted our time and money on this joke of...

This restaurant is not at all up to par with the original one in Jean-Talon. The person working on the counter is always distracted. I ordered fried rice, he served hakka noodles.

The name of the restaurant is La Paanvilla and the paan which they serve is disgusting. They don't even know how to wrap the paan with its ingredients. The paan I got was folded as a triangle which spilled everything when I opened the wrapper.

They have also made the prices exorbitant for the quantity they give. Before ordering I asked how much is the quantity of "Chilly panner" in terms of sharing. They told me it will serve easily 3 people.thr quantity was barely enough for two.

There are so many better Indian food options in the same price range in downtown. This restaurant from inside feels very congested as the tables are placed too close to each other. My recommendation is going to India Rosa, if you want to spend $60-$70 for 2 people. The decor is really nice, the food is extremely good and the cocktails are...

I ordered chicken tikka masala and it is no where close to an authentic indian chicken dish , They use ready made sauce for all chicken items , this sauce can be found at Costco, the dish looks unhealthy, it tastes unhealthy as the sauce has an overpowering taste and chicken is always undercooked, I have ordered 2-3 times from the restaurant hoping it would change , every time it is the same sauce for butter chicken or tikka masala or any other dish that is ordered with chicken , I rarely write however the food was horrible, The sauce is poured and chicken pieces are added . This dish can be made in under a minute, the restaurant has not taken any effort to prepare the authentic gravy and is using the same sauce in paneer and chicken items ... Do not order , watch you tube and make it yourself , I can assure you , you will not regret it , I am deeply disappointed by indian restaurants trying to fool people , this resturant does not serve...
