Boy Oh Boy.... what a dud.... We showed up pumped to our reservation on a Sunday hoping to feast on amazing fresh seafood in a cool ambiance. We had read from other reviewers that this place wasn’t worth its price and makes incomprehensible mistakes such as using cheap grocery store bacon bits or serving you a fanned piece of iceberg lettuce as a salad but decided to go anyway and make up our own minds. We started the evening with 15$ drinks hoping for some amazing flavours. Nope, anyone reading this review can do better at home. We also had to remind the staff twice to bring our second round of drinks as it was never delivered. Then we got slack for reminding them. Starting with the appetizers, we tried the fish tacos (18$) and some fried calamari (18$). Portion wise, this was a joke for both... Anyone has better fish tacos around Monkland for less and as for the calamari, let’s just say we expected more freshness from a seafood restaurant. Then came the main courses. We ordered the surf and turf, or shall we say, prepackaged boiled up ribs and with tiny and super chewy lobster roll for 36$. We also had the steak and prawns. The meat was ok but the prawns were chewy and the taste was off. This was also served iceberg lettuce (lazily chopped into a quarter wedge) for 32$. We had the fish and chips, also tasteless and the worse meal of all, the Asian style salmon tartare, served with shrimp chips you can find in an Asian grocery store for 1,25$. This was also served with the lacklustre iceberg lettuce wedge for... drumroll, 25$... This would perhaps be acceptable at a place like Scores. But with prices rivalling Joe Beef, Bremner, Garde-Manger, etc., we were a expecting a level of quality that simply wasn’t there. How’s this place still open or worst yet, expand to other locations is beyond incomprehensible... Shame on everyone involved with this establishment or its brand. Pure garbage at the cost of 280$+.

I was craving seafood, so after researching for a place in Montreal, I had decided that I liked the look of the offerings on the menu. Went with my boyfriend one night. I had my eyes set on 1/2 dozen oysters for the entree. We were presented with 2 different types of oysters - both equally fresh and creamy. I enjoyed the red wine vinegar dressing out of the three which was served with it. For the main course, I had my eyes set on the Grilled Octopus with Greek salad, whereas the boyfriend has his eyes set on the Grilled Seafood with Chorizo in Piri Piri sauce. I absolutely adored my main course as the octopus was cooked to perfection - tender but yet there's just enough charring to give the smokey aftertaste. The salad was served rustic style - roughly chopped. I don't even like raw tomatoes that much, but paired with the sauce and feta, it was divine. As for the other dish, I loved the combination of flavours. The Piri-piri sauce was more like a broth and it was delicate but flavoursome. Didn't take a photo of the dessert but I had the chocolate mousse with candied/caramelised peanuts. That was the perfect light dessert to top off the meal we had. Service was good too, so no complaints there! Highly recommend this place and I will definitely try to return at some point to try the rest of their menu.

Ate here for a birthday as a group of 6. The service was good... the waiters varied throughout the night but they were flexible and allowed us to collectively pay the tabs of the 2 Birthday girls ... we didn't have to figure out the math, we each got our bills with a fraction of their meals included which made it very easy to pay for our friends discreetly. The food was very filling. Overall the good was good it was not the best seafood or food ever but it was enjoyable. The Fries however were amazing and the bean snap salad had this ginger dressing on it that was surprisingly outstanding! The environmental was nice and rustic but very very tight. It's so close together that everyone can pretty much hear everyone's conversations. A couple behind our group actually found our conversations quite entertaining lol however we did not mind their ease dropping because the place was tight and we're pretty easy going. Once a lineup had developed at the door the waiters did politely encourage us to get going because they needed the space... thankfully for us we were already finished and decided to have desert elsewhere.

We had a reservation for 10 people... we called to say we were late and they said we will try to hold the table ,but we might have to wait, which was fine with us..... worst ever!!! Didn't even get to eat.... after waiting for a table for 10, 7 adults and 3 children, 6 adults went to the bar to have a drink while we wait, it's already been an hour of waiting...which was fine.... We ordered drinks and a bottle of wine.. 10min. after, we were told you cannot sit at the bar anymore we have people here who want your seats to eat... I explained we are waiting for our table.. they told us very rudely" this is not a bar" and you can take your bottle of wine and drinks and wait outside!! We were dumbfounded!! I asked for the manager and this extremely rude person by the name of Christine came and started yelling at me and our group to go wait outside calling us names, it was unbelievably shocking...I've worked in restaurants in my younger years and frequent restaurants a lot with my partner in all corners of the world and have NEVER experienced something or someone so rude!!! We were celebrating our granddaughter's graduation.... felt very bad for her to witness an employe out of control... screaming at the top of her lungs, waving her hands in my face.. and then to top it off her boyfriend who works in the kitchen jumped out, towards us and said "don't talk to my girlfriend like that"... It was quite laughable and very unprofessional.... We heard so many good things about the restaurant and we're looking forward to enjoying a pleasant evening, that unfortunately turned into a bit of a nightmare... Oh well.... we still had a great evening and enjoyed a great dinner a few doors down.. a cute pizza place that was very happy to have us!! Great pizza and great service!! It...

We have been to this restaurant 2 times before once during the early during the pandemic when the lights got turned off in the area and they came through with for a fantastic diner for my I........let’s skip ahead to my wife’s birthday

December 1st 2020 I called a few days before n inquired about what I could order cause it didn’t seem right getting delivery from those online sites ,the women I spoke to was fantastic telling me not to worry n we could pretty much order anything cause tuesdays is not all that busy ..was told to call at 3 on make my order

I called at 3 ordered a full octopus , the cauliflower ,beet salad 6 oysters and a half a crab ,clam chowder ...gentleman on the phone suggested I get a cheesecake since it was my wife’s birthday ...gave my credit card n was told it would be after 5 which was perfect for us

Around 5 the same gentleman called and apologized said they couldn’t do the beet salad n asked if I could change it so I went with the kale salad ..I’ve had to beet salad before which was amazing so I went outta my comfort zone to try this salad

Food arrived 30 minutes later it well packaged containers...food fresh !!! the food was absolutely amazing ...the taste on that octopus was top notch !!could taste the grill !!! ...everything that was ordered was AAAAA quality ..5 stars...and for that kale salad ...was the best salad I’ve had in years ....I can not express how grateful I am for the team who delivered my wife an absolue perfect evening all in the comfort of our own home ...all during the heat of a pandemic !!!! Bless you all have a safe and happy holidays
