As an ex-McDonald's floor manager... Nov2024 update... The owners are still the worst restaurant owners. Nothing has changed. For a simple burger ordered at the window they tell you to go wait in the parking lot (and wait more than 20 minutes). Horrible, horrible, horrible. I believe this is a franchise and there should be no excuses for restaurant owners to so poorly regard their clients. Shame on them and shame on McDonald's Canada for letting its name being tarnished by such poor management and doing nothing. 15sept2023 Worst service as usual. I order a simple BLT bagel + hash brown and coffee. Drive-in wait (order+window) 6 min. But they tell me to go wait in the parking... I waited 10+ min. Then i went inside to ask for my order... Waited another 2 min in line to get it. TOTAL 18 MINUTES for a simple breakfast meal. YOU GO TO A FULL SERVICE RESTAURANT AND YOU GET SERVED FASTER!! This location really does not get that McDonald's clients pay more in order to get "fast" food... This is a real joke. Thing is... i live right next door and sometimes i do not have much choice but to come here... And again, they did not give me my bill because i am pretty sure they punched my order as "completed" in order not to look slow towards the headquarters. :-(
09sept2023 Worst of the worst. And they seem to remove your order from the waiting screen in order to make McDo believe they served you faster. We came at 8h35 for a simple happy meal and waited 15 minutes.
17Jan2023 15h45: Ordered 20 nuggets... got 19. Who's going to go back to get a nugget back? It is still 5% of the price and they are more expensive than McDo StMichel. This McDonald's franchise doesn't get better. Definite lack of training or supervision of their staff in quality control and client satisfaction. I feel like they just don't care.
Oct 2021: flavour of the month : the McBurnt? See picture. You should not deliberately choose to serve such burnt products to clients... Ever.
Aug2021: ordered a coffee and apple pies at drive-in... Only after having paid they tell me there is no more apple pies. The girl asks me if i want a muffin instead. I accept. The floor manager in the back makes a pissed off face and pissed off sound. Then a few seconds later she gives me some change back. I believe it is for the price difference. Then she tells me on an unacceptable tone of voice: "What are you still doing here? I have given you your money back!" I replied politely "yes but i still don't have the muffin...". Then she says: "But we don't have muffins left". And then i see and hear the floor manager in the back yelling: "What is he still doing there?". Totally unacceptable.
Dec 2020 to May 2021: the drive-in strategy here often seems to make you wait to take your order until the car in front has paid and been fully served... Maybe a strategy to show McDonald's Canada that they are faster than they are?
Oct 2018: on a Saturday night, 18h45, after a wait of 10 minutes for our order, they say they don't have BigMac sauce to make burgers!
June 2018: ordered a BLT with grilled chicken but found at home i was served the fried chicken.
October 2017: ordered a thai burger... but got served a burger with no thai sauce in it. When bringing back the burger, i am told: "there is no thai sauce in the thai burger because we have no thai sauce left in the restaurant" So you serve plain burgers to clients without informing them of that fact!???

The cash register is often unmanned, and if you resort to the self-serve kiosks, be prepared to memorize your order number. The receipt printer is often out of service. The store's interior resembles a turbulent sea of customers, with people either impatiently waiting for their meals, querying why their order numbers have vanished from the screen, or lamenting about a missing item.
It's important to clarify that the staff aren't impolite. They appear to genuinely give their all, but they seem understaffed, a battle that's impossible to win single-handedly. Brace yourself for a new dimension of slow service.
As for the drive-through, it's a game of luck. It could either offer a smoother experience or, at times, be even more frustrating. They might even close it down abruptly with cars still queued up, offering no explanation or prior warning. A rather unsettling...
