Nouveau Delhi — Restaurant in Montreal

Portion is small, but with this quality I'm happy it was small. To start, the taste is not correct. Whoever is cooking, is not getting it right.

Aside from the incorrect taste, the quality is very very bad. Inedible food. No doubt in my mind food safety is a major concern at this kitchen.

Butter chicken has stale bland chicken. The sauce tastes weird in a bad way. The Chicken Tandoori (half), is not really a half chicken. In my order I received a thigh, a leg and 4 cube pieces of another chicken breast. It seemed it was from another leftover plate. It was rock dry chicken and inedible.

Lamb is not lamb, they use beef instead (randomly). I even had a piece of chicken in my lamp sauce.

Samosa looked different and tasted different. The potatoes inside has a glue texture that's not usual for potatoes.

I tried the fried Onions Bhaji as well and it also has a grainy weird texture and no trace of onions.

It's really shocking for me how such a business can operate within Quebec and Canada. This is a health hazard by any standard. Please avoid at all costs for the sake of...

Worst experience ever!! AVOID THIS RESTAURANT!!! I ordered a butter chicken with naan bread at 9:00pm... the guy on the phone tells me the total would be 20,87$ and he also asked how am i going to pay, i said credit. One hour later i received a call from new delhi from the same guy, asking me if i have cash to pay for the food?!? I said yes i do, when am i going to receive my order? The guy told me i dont know?!?!!?? I ended up receiving my order at 11:30..... BUT WAIIT!!! When i opened the bag first thing i notice is the naan bread.. covered in a paper towel?!? BEST PART IS HERE: so i opened my butter chicken (i was really craving it) and i saw some dry grapes in it?!? At first i was like ok 3-4 felt in it when they were cooking it but there was litteraly 30-40 of them.. and it didnt taste at all like butter chicken..! I always stop to have their veg combo when I am around and happens lunch hour.

I love their summer settings with windows opened and seats next to windows surrounded with colorful pillows.

I also like their servant, nice and calm, a bit different, he always make you feel you made a excelleng choice and then serve you with great pleasure! Once I came in 30 minutes before their closing, but they manage to serve me just fine with my combo and the servant stays calm just like always...

Their veg combo is good price and 3 dishes with a bit rice and nan bread, just perfect for a good size lunch and taste is not bad. Sometimes one of the dish will be a bit salty, but not a big deal!

Recommend it for regularly work lunch or casual...
