Quality dropped a lot, pizza doesnt taste the same, ignore all the old good reviews this place sucks
Worst pepperoni i've ever had in my life it is legit disgusting, it's actually super cheap beef baloney that's probably 20% meat but like, weirdly wet with a super off smell and taste that would make a MAPAQ inspector have a heart attack. Pizza is undercooked and has a weird gummy texture. They put a lot of cheese to cover it up but it ends up being a weird gloopy oily mess that even seasonally depressed me couldnt eat. Will never eat from here even for free
The white spot in the picture is stretchy, pliable, raw dough btw
Edit: in his batshit insane answer the owner called me an employee, I have never worked here in my life. I also clearly removed the toppings including the cheese in the picture to get to the dough. I will also add that I have 7 years of restaurant experience, including working as a baker/patissier, and I have my MAPAQ certification, I know how to differentiate between dough and cheese. I have never had such a terrible pizza as I did tonight. I asked for all dressed pepperoni on top as I have always had in the past in chomedey. Unfortunately they were closed today due to greek Easter so I decided to try the St. Laurent location. They should not be allowed to use the name Pendelis pizza since they don't used the same ingredients. The pepperoni is disgusting the green peppers were even worse. Read moreJust ordered 2, 16 inch pizzas.. It looks like they used the same amount of dough that they normally use for a 14 inch and stretched it out to make a 16 inch and change more. I've been eating Pendeli's pizza since the '80s.. and I don't know what has happened. The quality really went down the toilet. Both pizzas came super flat. Not fluffy like what pendelis is known for. The cheese has changed, and has become super squeaky against your teeth. The sauce has changed as well. Seems a bit spicier than what it used to be. The pepperoni was the only good part about it. Overall, the dough feels like I'm eating cardboard (not exaggerating).
Well Pendeli's, we had a good run. Now you just taste like the garbage everybody else makes...
