Café VSL — Restaurant in Montreal

I placed a pick up order with uber eats. As soon as I did, the app said that the pastry I picked was out of stock and asked me to replace it. I did. When I arrived turns out that the item I replaced it with was out of stock as well. This wasn't a big problem but I just hope they update their uber eats menu to genuinely represent their stock. What made me give a 3star review as well was that the girl working at the counter had really long hair that wasn't pulled back or anything. When she was taking and handling food, the ends of her hair were mm away from brushing the pastries and drinks. This was a bit off-putting. A part from that. The latte was good, the pastry...

Had some time to kill this morning before classes and I'm so glad I stopped by this place! Their mocha was very smooth and soothing (and not too sweet!) and they also had a delicious pistachio & chocolate chip cookie that was really comforting. The barista Asma was super friendly and welcoming, even though I was a groggy, sleep-deprived mess 💀. Bonus: the playlist was also good, and not too loud either.

Overall if you have the budget as a student to go to a café in the morning instead of the usual stop ar Timmies (totally not speaking from experience) this is a great place to start your day! I'll definitely be...

I was excited to visite this place because of the nice pictures I saw on the internet. Unfortunately, pictures don't always tell you the truth.

Service : I have never felt as unwelcomed as yesterday Monday, August 23. The young lady who works there is not only unpleasant, but also unwelcoming. I don't think she is happy working there.

Cleaninest: The bathroom doesn't have water. So, please, instead of soap put purell. Also, the place was dusty.

Food and taste: I am sorry to say that the taste of the coffee and pastry were as bad as the service.

Price: Too pricey for a terrible service and not...
