Calzone Ricotta The Calzone Ricotta is a standout dish that truly showcases the restaurant's dedication to quality and flavor. The crust is perfectly golden and crisp on the outside, yet soft and chewy on the inside—a testament to their skilled baking. Inside, the ricotta cheese is rich and creamy, blending beautifully with the other fillings, which include a mix of fresh spinach, savory mozzarella, and a hint of garlic. Each bite is a harmonious blend of textures and flavors that leave you craving more. The portion size is generous, making it an excellent choice for a satisfying meal.
Pizza Bianca The Pizza Bianca is another highlight of the menu. This white pizza, free from the usual tomato sauce, allows the toppings to shine through. Read moreThis was by far the worst restaurant experience I have ever had. We arrived and the restaurant and even though it was not busy at all, it still took a while for the waiter to come bring us to our table. We waited a while for him to come back and take our orders or bring water and he did not come until we flagged him down. We asked for more water many times and never got it. They were out of an ingredient that a couple of people had ordered - it wasn’t even peak dinner time yet. Then when the food finally arrived, one of the pizzas was extremely burnt and had to be sent back. Another pizza was lacking ingredients and was all crust. We asked for hot peppers… they brought them after we had finished eating. We again tried to flag the waiter down for water … he never came back. We asked another employee who then spilled water all over two of us. The pizza that was sent back cause it was overcooked was never brought back to our table - when we went to the counter to ask about it they said “ya it’s ready”… it was sitting on the counter yet they never brought it to our table. We noticed other tables were not getting the same service as us, the waiter was checking on them regularly. By that point we had voiced that we were unhappy with the service and our waiter sent someone else to give us our bills. I’m not sure if there’s a reason why our table was treated this way but it was a very...
Read moreWe had a 7:30 reservation and when we arrived it was evident that the air conditioning was broken, as it was very hot in the entry and they had fans placed around the restaurant. The hostess didn’t mention address this in any way but seated us in front of a fan so the temperature was comfortable during our meal. We had cocktails (Lemoncello spritz and an Old Fashioned) and they were very good. My wife is gluten free and they offer a gluten free rice crust, so she ordered the Prosciutto and Fig on GF crust, I had the Four Cheese. The pizzas came out quickly and the crust on both pizzas were excellent. Usually gluten free crusts are thin and hard/crispy but this was very fluffy and authentic to a true Italian pizza crust - Amazing! We were a little surprised that the pizzas came did not have any “base layer” of cheese or white sauce; just the crust, goat cheese crumbles spread out, arugula, prosciutto, and fig jam sprinkled across it. The effect was that it was a little dry…basically a salad laid on a crust, but overall still good and flavorful. My four cheese pizza was excellent and very flavorful.
The service was not very attentive, so it was hard to get their attention to ask for anything, despite being one of only about 3 customers.
Overall, I would go back for the food, but would have had a better experience if the AC had been working and the staff had been a bit...
