Restaurant Basha Jarry (St-Léonard) — Restaurant in Montreal

Worst experience ordering food from this place. The delivery didn't show up at the time it said and when I called, the person who answered was rude and didn't even want to listen to me to resolve my problem. I asked him if I was going to get a refund for the delivery charge if it finally arrives. He says the delivery charge isn't his problem whatsoever since I ordered from Just-Eats. (Just-Eats says if there's a problem, contact the restaurant directly, yet this guy pushes away all responsibility back to Just-Eats) He basically said to me, "If you don't like it, cancel the order. It's as simple as that." So I told him I was going to cancel the order and he said, "I'll call my guy to tell him not to come." He didn't even cancel the order for me. I had to cancel through Just-Eats (great customer service from Just-Eats in cancelling my paypal payment). I can't comment on the quality of the food since I never received it. I ended up ordering from a different establishment because this one on Jarry Est is ridiculously rude. (If you want good service, call the Basha on Henri-Bourassa Est instead. I received my order within 15 minutes and the same meal...

I don't know where to begin.

This Basha has started to sell Fried Chicken and honestly it was soggy and not crunchy at all. It tasted like water due to all sog... Pretty sure they were cooked either super early morning or were there from last night. Their burger was good because they made it fresh on the spot (it was crunchy) no complaints about that.

What really did not make me happy was the fact I paid for the order, left a good tip before getting my order (never doing that again) and when it was time to serve my food (the cook accidentally put french fries in my plate) and left it at the counter for me to pick up. The cashier who took my order at the counter came ranting to him that my order was not a trio and confronted me about it as if it was my fault or I asked the cook to add fries to my plate... So guess what, the cashier asked the cook to take the fries out of my plate and then handed me the plate without the fries.

Fries are not that expensive... If the cook accidentally added it, you don't have to make a huge fuss about it and take the plate from the counter and remove all the fries. Especially after I had left a tip of ~$6....

Worst basha in this area, very racist staff, very cold not welcoming at all when you get in everybody that works there act like they didn't acknowledge you even when you say hello. Very very cold even when you smile at them they very very rude and not professional at all. The food is over priced compared to the other Bashas for their quality, they leave the food for too long and serve you with basically left overs from an old batch you can feel that it is not fresh when you eat it it taste like it was there since two days. The food is pretty much average and the hummus sauce don't taste like hummus sauce at all... really poor customer service. The cleanliness is not the best neither. Please avoid going there you might get sick they make your sandwich with out using gloves. The girl in front at the cashier is very rude as well. I would never go back there, it's very disappointing to get a treatment like this. This place is to be avoided at all costs even if you are starving and that's the only restaurant open just go to McDonald. You better of getting your Shishtaouk at their competitors. My worst...
