I’ve been a regular at this restaurant, but today was disappointing. We waited 47 minutes for our food, only to be told they forgot about us while taking photos for their app. We filled up on bread and salad before our meals finally arrived. I don’t blame our waitress, but this lack of responsibility was unacceptable.
Thank you for your response. However, I would like to clarify some key points regarding my experience.
First, when my friends and I arrived at the restaurant, we placed our order at approximately 1:15 PM. At that time, I was on a call, and my friend mentioned that since the moment we answered the call, we had been waiting for our food. This wait lasted 45 minutes, which is significantly longer than expected, especially considering that the restaurant was not particularly busy.
In many restaurants, waitstaff frequently check on tables, asking if guests have finished their appetizers or if they would like to proceed with the next course. However, no one came to our table during this time. Eventually, I had to go to another server and ask if we had been forgotten. It was only then that the waitress attended to us.
Additionally, I asked for lactose-free milk (such as almond milk) for my coffee, but the waitress informed me that none was available. Given the long wait time and lack of attention to our table, we were left with our appetizers for 45–47 minutes, which is not normal for a restaurant of your standard.
I was especially disappointed when you mentioned that 11 other orders were placed before ours. When we looked around, we noticed only a few occupied tables, with just two or three people at each. Even if there were other orders, it is not reasonable for our table to have been left unattended for so long.
By the time dessert was served, I had lost interest in staying. I did not enjoy the experience, and I was embarrassed because I was the one who suggested the restaurant to my friends. Unfortunately, they were also very unhappy with the service.
I had expected the usual great service that I have experienced in the past, but this visit was disappointing. I hope this feedback helps improve your service for future...
Read moreAnother Gem with lowsy service and ineatable food. The waiters were completely scrapped from the bottom of the barrel and lost beyond belief. The only good thing I ate there was chicken tenders that were surprisingly tender on the inside considering they were probably frozen bought and were burnt on the outside(it's called changing your oil) and the tres leche cake Wich was also a bought dessert. The calamari, zucchini & eggplant parmesan were unseasoned and over cooked. The spaghetti Bolognese water watery cappellini with some sort of chef boyardi meat sauce that niece didn't even eat and she eats anything, the carbonara my mother ordered tasted like cheese and cream🤦 or could have been Alfredo powdered sauce mix who knows. I've been working in the restaurant industry for 29 years and have been a chef for 21 years and this is the second worst restaurant I've ever been to. Even walking into this place I knew not to expect much but man the waiter served the appetizers and forgot mine because he punched it as a main since I only took eggplant parmesan which I specifically told him to serve with the rest of the appetizers, it took 25 min to get drinks served and the place was empty. I ordered a bottle of sparkling wine but no ice bucket was brought. 1st and last time I go to this place, I felt like I was at a retirement home with bad decorating and music that puts you to sleep. Apparently the excuse for the horrible food and lowsy service was because the owner wasn't there told to me by someone at our table....Really! That's the worst excuse to hear. I award this place -5 stars and may God have mercy on anyone who decides to eat there. As Frank Sinatra said "Time to...
Read moreFollowing the reply of the restaurant, the point I was trying to make is they were doing false advertising. Nothing they could have offered would make up for it. I paid for 2 pieces of french toast and 2 pieces of pancakes, not 2 halves of each, hence making it expensive for what I got. It's a matter of principle. Also the way I was told not to never come back came from an angry and intense manager. That reaction was hardly appropriate.
Just had a brunch there. I ordered a dish that said two eggs, two pieces of French toast and two pieces of pancakes. I was served one piece of french toast cut in two and one pancake cut in two. They argued with me that they were correct and I was wrong and stating this was false advertising. I never asked for a free meal. They kept offering to bring me something else and I said no but admit this is false advertising. I asked for a $2 rebate and the manager said I could have the meal for free. I reinstated that a $2 rebate would have been fine as I still wanted to eat my plate. In the end I was not charged, which I wasn't even asking for. As I left with my group of seven people I was told I was blacklisted once I stepped out of the front door. Everybody was absolutely flabbergasted by what...
