Called to tell them I was running late but that I was still on my way to pick up 3 crispy patas, they said no problem

I arrive, to them telling me that they gave my order away and although I explained my situation in the manner mentioned above, they said next time to tell them to reserve it. I guess what I said was not clear enough or that there was a miscommunication

In what would have been extra tip for them I had to pay extra to my uber for having them wait

I am a regular customer and these guys are very consistent in quality and service, I will modify the stars accordingly back to 5 stars that it originally was, upon my next attempted order.

I don't have any photos that execute written facts ... however, I was in a sham after being told to visit and order from this restaurant. In truth the dishes I tasted were too bland for my palette. Their pricing per dish is superb. In addition the amount of food given is enormous by restaurant standards. For me I feel where they fell short is the flavoring wow-factor. Mind y'all, I have a West Indies up growing where dishes are seasoned to perfection. I felt challenged to taste because a person from the Phil's said they are good. Now I disagree. I believe this restaurant can be a landmark of delicious dishes 1- if they can take positive criticism and invest in renovations. I don't think the person serving me should have had a beard every so long while hovering over the displayed dishes.

I guarantee you I will go back to this restaurant...

Stopped by Restaurant Papa after a long bike ride because I was starving—and wow, what a great decision. The food was delicious, fresh, and tasted just like a comforting home-cooked meal. I loved the laid-back vibe: if you're dining in, you eat first, then pay; if it’s takeout, you pay upfront—simple and friendly.

The portions are super generous, especially the meat—definitely enough for two people's or perfect to save half for a cozy movie night later. Everything tasted clean and homemade.

And just when I thought lunch couldn’t get any better—I ended it with their Etat dessert drink. Light, colorful, and full of surprises, it was the perfect sweet finish after a hearty, home-style meal. Highly recommend saving room...
