From the moment you walk through the doors of Zoëlle restaurant in Montréal, you are greeted by a warm, inviting atmosphere that sets the stage for an unforgettable dining experience. The decor is a perfect blend of modern elegance and cozy charm, making you feel right at home.

As you step inside, the friendly staff welcomes you with genuine smiles, eager to make your visit as comfortable as possible. Their accommodating nature shines through as they take the time to ensure that you feel valued and attended to.

A highlight of the evening was when the chef personally came to our table to discuss our food sensitivities. This thoughtful gesture not only demonstrated their commitment to customer care but also added a personal touch that is all too rare in dining today. The chef took the time to explain the menu options, suggesting delicious alternatives that catered perfectly to our needs.

Throughout the meal, the service remained impeccable, with staff checking in to ensure everything was to our liking without being intrusive. Each dish that arrived was a masterpiece, beautifully presented and bursting with flavor, reflecting the chef's passion and expertise. The exquisite complexity of flavors in every dish was absolutely remarkable, with each bite revealing layers of taste that delighted the palate and showcased the artistry of the kitchen.

Overall, Zoëlle is more than just a restaurant; it’s an experience that combines exceptional food with heartfelt hospitality. I left feeling not only satisfied but also appreciated as a guest. I highly recommend Zoëlle to anyone seeking a memorable dining experience...

I went to Restaurant ZOËLLE on Feb 16th for my 7 year Anniversary which always falls on Valentines Day dinner menus. At first glance your like woow...Great Bar . Then the fun began...looking at what to eat.We had two starters.Buratta with fresh tomatoes & the best calamari EVER! Then we couldn't decide on our main sides so we ordered Filet mignon ( the meat was cooked medium and was delicious.I've still salavating!) We also had the 4 large garlic shrimp in a garlic with parsley infused oil...omg! Sooooo Fresh & not overcooked. It was crunchy and very flavourful. We also took a side of thousand layered potatoes...sprinkled with sea salt..love love.Lastly for the veg component we have brocolini in a tahini sauce accompanied by a tangy yogurt minty sauce. An abundance of Mediterranean flavors in your mouth...oh and I almost forgot the sprinkle of toasted pine nuts.It all complimented together. For desert....oh my that desert has got to be the best desert I've ever had in a restaurant. It was a baklava Mille feuille with pistachio filling.I swear this desert was so good that I almost asked for a second one...to take home lol. The service was excellent. They have a good selection of wine. Our drinks were tastey and well boozed! The owner Steve made his rounds and took the time to chat with us.I appreciated this.It shows that he truly cares about quality & customer satisfaction. I highly recommend this place for date night, business meeting, girls night. This restaurant has 3 floors and abundance of space.Go check Restaurant ZOËLLE out.Trust me you won't be...

The restaurant was spotless, and the ambiance was excellent—warm and inviting.

For the appetizer, we ordered the sea bream, and it was absolutely delicious! The whole fish was expertly sliced into thin pieces and served with a fragrant orange sauce. Even the fish bones were deep-fried and lightly salted, adding a delightful crunch. The presentation was beautiful, and the flavors were incredibly refreshing. We loved it so much that we ended up ordering a second plate!

We also got a dozen oysters, which were incredibly fresh. They were served with diced onions, fish roe, and pickled chili rings—the perfect balance of acidity and spice, enhancing the natural sweetness of the oysters.

The sushi platter came with six pieces for $60. The seasoning was well-executed, the fish was fresh, and the rice was slightly warm, which was a nice touch. However, after having two raw dishes already, I started to feel a bit overwhelmed by this point.

The filet mignon, unfortunately, fell short compared to the earlier dishes. Both the seasoning and the doneness of the steak were underwhelming. On the bright side, the broccolini was a pleasant surprise. The portion was generous for just 14 CAD, and it was well-prepared with great flavor.

Desserts were decent. The tiramisu’s cream was not overly sweet, which I appreciated. If only the choux pastry had been crisp! The yogurt was also unsweetened, and honestly, for a dessert in North America that isn’t overly sugary, I’d already consider it a win.

Our experience at this restaurant was disappointing. Many items were unavailable from the menu—no octopus, no burrata, and no fish at all. Unfortunately, the waiter informed us of this only after we had made our choices, forcing us to settle for second options. The service was disorganized. My main course (steak) arrived two minutes before the rest of the table received their desserts. I had requested potatoes instead of fries, but since they arrived with the appetizer, they were cold by the time my meal was served. Despite informing the waiter, nothing was done, and I was still charged for them even though I couldn't eat them. I also had to ask twice for a new fork, which seemed unnecessarily difficult. Another issue was their drink selection. While they offer a wide variety of alcoholic beverages, they don’t seem to know the prices until they bring the bill. On top of that, there’s no mocktail menu, which is disappointing for those looking for non-alcoholic options. To make matters worse, three people from our group ended up sick—likely from the sushi (Shrimp Poketto). On the positive side, the place looks great, and the drinks were excellent. However, the food and service did not justify the price.
