Ye Olde Orchard Pub and Grill — Restaurant in Montreal

Made a reservation in advance, so as to meet up with friends who were coming in from out-of-town. Asked for a seating area in the back, with cushioned seats -- however despite this request, we ended up right near the front door, where we kept getting drafts from the outside every time someone came in or out. (There were other seating areas still available...)

Our friends had been there for about 15 minutes by the time we had arrived, and STILL had not been served the drinks they ordered!

My friends ordered a Baked Brie for us to share and it was barely lukewarm, and certainly not the gooey melted goodness that it should have been! We actually had to divide it up with a knife because it wasn't melted enough to break up on it's own!! Extremely disappointing!

Despite mentioning to the wait staff that they were time limited as they were going to a concert afterwards; they had to literally chase down the waitress in order to get the bill, after waiting around too long. (The bar was not particularly busy on a Sunday evening.)

Ladies bathroom was miniscule and difficult to maneuver for someone with a mobility disability.

All in all, a rather disappointing visit, especially as we were bringing in folks from out-of-town. It would take an awful lot for us to reconsider going...

Visited in 2017 Came here for a happy hour on a Wednesday and it was realllllllly empty. We got a pretty good corner table though so sweet!

My boyfriend and I only came in to grab an entree and a drink before heading out to do some errands but the food was so good and the service so pleasant that we stayed all evening.

I initially ordered the Caesar salad as an entree and my boyfriend got the onion rings. I enjoyed my salad a lot, it was creamy and crunchy. I didn't like the croutons though but you can just skip those and just eat the salad. The onion rings were good too but I felt they were too soft, I like onion rings really crispy. My boyfriend doesn't so he loved them. He ordered another batch and we got the pound of chicken wings to share and replaced the fries with a side of salad (I wanted more!). We got the wings with the honey garlic sauce. They weren't too spicy but they were a bit too sour for me which was weird. The chicken was really good though so I just scrapped off the sauce.

I really liked it here, prices were very decent and the server that we had was so nice! I had a great time here and I know I would come again!

The beer for happy hour was 6$ for a pint I believe. The salad as an entree is 6$, onion rings 7$, pound of...

Amazing, can't even describe how good it is, every worker available on every single night was super helpful, I had one night only that was minor changes from the usual, but it was packed, that was understandable. Otherwise, I've come here over 7 times during my stay in Montreal, honestly the best pub I've ever been too, can't express how good the servers are, I don't understand the negative reviews on this place, I love it here, great atmosphere, excellent workers and friendly service from everyone, I would definitely return as soon I step foot in Montreal again. Literally the best pub I've been too, I can't say enough positive stuff about it. Definitely worth a visit, I'd recommend this to anyone that wants good food and a nice drink after a long haul of a day, or even just to cut back and relax. If you are at Novotel on 1180 rue de la montagne, it's across the road, visit this place, you won't regret, apparently some people do, but I really don't understand why, insanely nice people and everyone I spoke to inside had nothing but great things to say about it. Also get the poutine, if you like poutine, you'll probably love this one, never let...
