Dont come here! Here's a breakdown of what i ordered and my opinion on each item:
Potato dog: Bruh. Tasted like a microwaved pogo from costco. Costs $6. Not worth it at all. The "dog" inside was actually a fish stick. Very disappointed.
Takoyaki: Doesn't taste fresh at all, batter was soggy around the octopus. Overly saucy , just not good. Maybe its my fault for ordering Japanese at a Korean restaurant. Onto the next item.
Miso soup: This one was complimentary, so I didn't expect much. Prepare to have your blood pressure raise. This soup is basically salt water. I still scooped out the tofu and seaweed though, cause I need protein.
4.Bulgolgi: The absolute WORST one. I had to send it back. The meat was super tough. Imagine medium-well steak level tough. Very hard to chew. After I sent it back, the chef came outside to try to punk me! Thankfully, he was a small man so I was only a little scared. He told me that I didn't know anything about bulgolgi, and that's just how it tastes. Okay, maybe. But I've definitely had yummier bulgolgi, I've been to many korean restaurants.
Ramen: Not good. The broth was way too watered down. It literally doesn't taste like anything. I couldn't finish it. Tonkatsu broth is definitely supposed to be much richer than this. Almost as rich as me. But that might not be possible!
Japchae: This one was actually pretty good. Kudos to the previously aforementioned chef.
Unfortunately, this restaurant stays in business by swindling people who don't know how authentic korean/japanese food is supposed to taste like. Avoid at all costs if you enjoy...
Read moreI visited on Saturday, September 13, 2025, around 9 PM, just 30 minutes before closing, and the staff could not have been more welcoming. They seated my friend and me at a patio table as requested, showing that even late in the night, they prioritize great service and guest comfort.
We ordered the Tteokbokki Samgyeopsal with a Strawberry Milkis (they have all the flavors!), and the owner generously included Fried Pork Mandu Coréen and a new recipe not yet on the menu, Tteokbokki Jeyuk, after we complimented the food. The Tteokbokki was hearty and satisfying, the rice cakes had the perfect chew, and the pork was tender, flavorful, and well-portioned. The Jeyuk was well seasoned with just the right level of spice for me (but if you like heat, definitely ask for extra). The fried mandu were perfectly crisp, packed with savory filling, and came out piping hot.
Beyond the food, the atmosphere was warm and inviting. The patio had a cozy, relaxed vibe, making it a perfect spot to wind down the evening. Even close to closing, the staff never rushed us and made sure we had everything we needed, which really stood out.
Between the attentive service, delicious food, and welcoming atmosphere, this is absolutely a place I’ll be returning to and...
Read moreCame here on a whim for an early dinner, ended up being a fantastic and stylish date spot. When we were seated, initially there was a bad smell in the dining room that was off-putting at first. It went away by the time the delicious food arrived. My partner and I shared a chicken dinner for 2, which included kimchi, dumplings, rice, and a big sizzling cast iron full of chicken and vegetables. I was really inspired by the sauce that was on the chicken, I believe a spicy Gochujang base but it was also very sweet, not overly oily, it was sublime. We enjoyed our veggie dumplings and kimchi, an appreciated accompaniment. The ice cream that came with the meal was a great milky palate cleanser but my recommendation is to not get it with the chocolate sauce, it was too sweet and took over the taste of the already sweet ice cream. Our server was awesome, very attentive, friendly and could speak so many languages, I was impressed! We'll be back for sure, glad we...
