Decided to give this place a try as it's the only Greek restaurant in the neighborhood. And overall it wasn't a great experience. The aesthetics are nothing special, a little dated, lighting felt dark, despite it being during the daytime. Went there on a quiet Sunday, place wasnt busy at all, were seated pretty quickly. The waitress was polite but just not very sharp. During the course of the meal neglected for long periods, got the first appetizer order wrong and kept speaking french to us even though we were English, even though she spoke english. Now the food, had a couple of appetizers and two mains. The first app was the feta and olives, which was wrong as we had orderd the spicy feta spread. What made it annoying is that we had specifically asked questions about the spread when ordering and they still brought the wrong app which was more expensive and we didnt realize until we got the bill. The other appetizer was the calamari which was really atrocious. Extremely chewey, zero taste or seasoning accompanied by a sauce that seemed to be ketchup and cocktail sauce for some reason on a bed of salad. As for the mains did beef and lamb slices with greek potatoes for 1 and I had brochettes, chicken. The mains were actually pretty decent, chicken was well cooked, seasoned and juicy, rice was good and the potatoes were just fine. The beef and lamb slices though had a very weird consistency, feel like soft jerky and not like either meat on their own but wasnt terrible.

If you're looking for authentic, delicious, and perfectly seasoned souvlaki, this is the spot to visit! From the moment you walk in, the warm and inviting atmosphere sets the tone for an amazing meal. The souvlaki is cooked to perfection—juicy, tender, and full of flavor. The tzatziki is creamy and fresh, perfectly complementing the grilled meat. The pita bread is soft and warm, just the way it should be. They also have generous portions, so you leave feeling completely satisfied. What makes this place even better is the friendly and attentive staff. They genuinely care about your experience and are always happy to recommend their specialties. Whether you dine in or take out, the quality is consistently excellent. I've tried souvlaki at many places, but this one stands out as the best. Highly recommend for anyone craving a true taste of Greece!

I am not sure how this place got its current review. The service was good, but that’s pretty much it. The food was very mediocre to bad. I had the porc gyro plate and the porc was chewy. Didn’t taste fresh at all. The picture looks great because of the tzatziki on top but inside of the sandwich it’s a very dry sandwich with very little in there. Very empty. The fries were actually good, but they mixed old fries with new fries (see pictures). The old fries were stale and disgusting. The rice was super bland. And the atmosphere was depressing, empty and played sad music half of the time. All in all, it breaks my heart to write this review since the staff was so nice but this place does not deserve the current rating, very far from it. A lot of other better Greek restaurants, skip this one

Rarely leave bad reviews but I really disliked what happened here.

Ordered a plate of calamari to share and asked if it was possible to split among 2. If it weren't possible it wouldn't have been an issue, but the eyeroll we received when she said that she'll see was unwarranted.

When we received the order of calamari it really didn't look too good. Overfried and very small bits with barely any calamari; most of it was batter. I should've maybe said something but I'm not the type to complain so we just ate it.

While eating, the group sitting in front of us (only other people in the restaurant) got their food and they had also ordered a plate of calamari. But theirs were nice big rings of calamari that actually looked really good. The rings were so perfect that I thought they were maybe onion rings so I asked the group to make sure.

Now obviously I had to point it out so I asked the lady that was there if it's normal that our plates looked so different and mentioned that ours really weren't that good since it was mostly crunchy batter. She went to check with the kitchen and came back with an answer.

The answer? "Yeah your plate was the end of whatever was left of the previous bag they used, so the pieces came out this way." That's it. No remediation whatsoever. In my opinion, after admitting that I received the last crumbs of their previous bag I was expecting some form of apology or consolation, but nothing. For me that's just bad service.

The rest of the food was mediocre at best, not worth what...

I just had some of the worst dining experiences ever in my life at this place. I believe the wife of the owner waited on us, after a long wait finally brought our food but to another table, apologized several times for serving somebody else before us even though they clearly came in well after us and are clearly having our food, then after some time she brings those same plates over to us, saying sorry they’re actually ours, but now they’ve clearly been touched! But she argues that no they weren’t touched. Takes one of the plates to the kitchen to get us a new one, then obviously brings the same one back pretending it is fresh, then argues with my wife about it, then argues with me about my dish, even though I’ve said nothing at all. At this stage, it is a scene! Other people in the restaurant are looking at us! Should we leave? We decide to stay and just quietly eat, it’s late and where else should we go, but the lady just comes back and pesters us over and over, eventually calms down, tries to make it good, offers us two free baklavas + one can of sparkling water. Also fights loudly with what I assume is her husband in the kitchen. Most embarrassing restaurant experience ever. And so weird! No idea what’s wrong with the place or how they can have so many good reviews. Did we go to the same place as the other reviewers? Food is okay. Not fresh, a bit dry, got heartburn after, so quite fatty. I cannot...
