Sushi Shop — Restaurant in Montreal

Word of advice: when ordering something that has to be made on the spot (like a poké bowl), make sure you always take it to-go and that you have lots of time on your hands.

I order a poké bowl, ask if you could add albacore, they didn’t understand what I was saying. Then, I take it for here, because to my calculations, I had enough time to eat it there and then go to class. They end up taking 15 minutes to make it: first 8, they hadn’t even started yet, they were just doing sushi. That wasn’t the first time this happened to me there. I ended up changing my order for ‘to-go’ and are it in the metro. Just because it’s for here, it doesn’t mean I can stay for as long as you want me to. I still have places to be.

Take way too long... Almost 30mins waiting for a Sky combo to go. Cashier didn't even tell my order was stuck behind a big order, or tell me how long it will take. Just let me stand there for 30mins and be annoyed. On top of that, he rushed my order and didn't even take the time to make it right, didn't even include wasabi or ginger.. The food tasted horrible and was warm.

Like don't all customers deserve quality food and hospitality?

I have been enjoying sushi since the mid 80's when it became popular in Montreal. I have eaten at quite a few different restaurants some expensive and some not so expensive. This Sushi Shop should be ashamed of themselves. The prices are high and the sushi rolls were so small I could pit 2 in my mouth at once. I have never seen such small rolls before. Don't eat or order from here. The menus' pictures and descriptions sound so appealing but when the food came, everything tasted the same. That is once we saw them...the were that small. Very...
