My friend and I had what might be one of the worst restaurant experiences we've ever had here last night. We're both vegetarian, and were excited about having multiple options for our meal! We decided to each try a vegan chorizo taco and share the tofu al pastor torta. We started with the tacos, which were delicious, but it quickly went downhill from there. I had the suspicion the torta had meat instead of tofu. When I sheepishly brought this up to the server, she said she couldn't tell, but brought it back to the kitchen just in case. After several minutes, (and we were the only two people in the restaurant!) she came back and said they were remaking the dish to be safe. When she brought it back, the new one was obviously tofu- which means we were certainly served meat. I'm a server myself, and would've been horrified at this mistake alone. But mistakes happen, and it's not the end of the world. My problem is that NOT ONCE did the server (or anyone else, for that matter) take accountability for her error or even muster up an apology. I consider this extremely bad service, especially after my friend approached her to express that it was insanely rude for her to have never even said sorry. She then continually lied to my friend, claiming that she apologized and "had no idea" it was meat. It's beyond wild that she simply couldn't own up to an incredibly simple mistake. In the end our bills weren't comped AT ALL. At least the terrible service distracted from the fact that we both ate meat after 8+ years of vegetarianism. (Saturday August...

I come here a lot but have to say today I was very disappointed. The food was not what I'm used to, there was too much lemon in the guacamole, it wasn't mashed well and the black fried bean taco was more like a brown fried bean taco that was really watery and barely any of it, or any cheese and cream. I told the waiter and he had it changed but even after I told the manager about everything, he didn't seem concerned. Usually when a customer talks about their experience and it wasn't positive the right thing for the manager and waiter to do is to at least say that they will follow up or pass the information along but neither one said anything. Even when the waiter returned the taco to me he didn't come back even once to ask if everything was okay. I had a feeling it was a different cook and when I asked they confirmed that it was a different cook. It really shows. It's too bad I hope that the black fried beans return and they aren't so watery and the guacamole can be as amazing as...

Marianna was an excellent hostess! From the beginning to the end of our dining experience, she was there to make sure we had everything we needed. She was helpful and patient in going through the menu with us. We were visiting from Toronto but were with friends who have been there before. The atmosphere was filled with vintage pieces which gave it a homey feeling. Loved the chalkboard art and day of the dead deco 👌🏼 Would definitely recommend going here for a quick bite that's still filling. They have gluten free options. Wish I got to try their Horchata, but they had a variety of Jarritos to choose from ☺️

I got the Cubana sandwich, and it was soft, flavourful and kept me full.

We will be back when we come to MTL...

We went there on a Friday to have tacos, priced at 15$for 3 (available dine in only). It’s the second time we’ve been here. Their tacos are simple but packed with flavors— you’ll actually love them. Our personal favorite: al pastor, mole, cubana, and pierna. We ordered the quesadillas from the kid’s menu. I would skip this because it tasted bland; my child did not bother having a second bite. They also forgot to give the apple juice that came with it, but that’s alright. The service was excellent. We were seated outside and every now and then, the kind servers would check on us, making sure that everything was alright. 💯 Don’t forget to drizzle your tacos with their homemade sauce that they give together with your order. :):)

Fantastic authentic Mexican food on Park Avenue, with a fun & eclectic decor. We've been coming for years and love their Mole Verde Taco Chido and Cubana torta. Their chillaquiles were tasty & abundant, and they have a variety of addictive tacos to choose from. The guacamole and cactus salad are great appetizers. The owner is a baker, and all breads and desserts are his creations. You must try the Mexican coffee, which is warmed by a touch of cinnamon. They've also got delicious horchata, a great drink on a summer day. This is our favourite Mexican restaurant in Montreal, and despite our many visits, have still not tried all the dishes on their menu. Definitely recommended !
