It’s probably the worst pizza I have ever tasted…? The dough were soggy and watery.. like there was literal water soaking the box. I’m also not a big fan of the sauce, it’s very lacking in flavour. Pizza weren’t cut properly btw, so make sure to have a pizza cutter/knife. However they were pretty generous with toppings, and the pizzas were still hot even though it took them an hour to arrive, hence 2 stars.
Edited: Jan 2025- Decided to give this restaurant another try after a year of my first review. I was craving pizza on a Friday night at home, and the Mexican pizza arrived old-style thick crusts that we used to back in the days. I requested for extra crispy which came out so, so I’m glad I gave myself and this place another chance. Is it the best pizza I have ever had my entire life? Not quite. Was it delicious and will I order...
Read moreDefinitely one of the BEST if not the best “ Sous-Marin’s “ I’ve ever eaten in Montreal I highly recommend it. The way their golden brown onions tastes like is outstanding. With the drippy sauce coming out of the Sous-Marin and the immense amount of cheese melting at the bottom, delicious. And without a doubt of course the flavorful Steak 🥩 in the middle, really yummy and FRESH. Plus their lettuce and tomatoes freshly cut inside makes everything in life better.
Now let’s talk about the sauce they pour inside the Sous-Marins, but you can also ask for one that you can dip with on the side if it not enough it tastes “ sour “ in a good way just like the sauce you see on top of a Cesar salad. To conclude a MUST try from this restaurant.
Overall 4.9/5 since it’s a little long while waiting for it to...
Read moreI love this place. Every time I get sick of the modern era, I hope in my time machine via quick phone call to Van Horne Pizza. No Ubereats or Doordash skimming part of the price and stealing tips! No tracking drivers anxiously. Just a quick phone call, and free delivery at a reasonable price, within a reasonable time frame. It's like ordering a pizza from the 90s. They do take credit cards, so I guess late 90s, although I generally pay cash for the full nostalgic experience. The pizza is great by Montreal standards - especially the thin crust. I wanted to take a photo but my kids ate the whole pizza...
