Stopped here on our way thru Moose Jaw on Thanksgiving Monday.
Disappointing, to say the least.
The place has gone downhill in the last three to six months - bathrooms are dingy and are obviously lacking repair - the hot water tap in the men's washroom did not shut off, and in the women's, there was a thick ring of silicone around the base of the toilet and it was still leaking enough that it needed mopping regularly.
The food was not up to A&W standards that we were used to - the onion rings, usually a favorite - were dark and tasted of burnt oil - it was apparent the deep fryers had not had their oil changed in some time. The burgers were drab, lacking the usual deliciousness that A&W burgers usually have.
The overall appearance of this location is of a worn out fast food location - everything seemed to have a grimy appearance.

The price always comes to $13 and some change. Today the girl charged me $18.04 for four eggs and six pieces of bacon nothing else. Every time I would explain to her this is too much. This is not what you charge because it’s the same thing I order every time she would just blank stare look at me and proceeded with everything she was doing no response no offer to re-ring it up to see if the price changes, just like I’m talking to a wall. $18 for four eggs and six pieces of bacon is absolutely disgusting. Read moreWalked in this morning to grab breakfast but hate to say I had to walk out. Guy working in the kitchen used same single tong to grab eggs from tray, sausage and then same tong is used to grab hash browns. Even thou there’s other utensils for bacon and hash browns but they are lazy to use them. A&W is known for cross contamination even if you try to get beyond meat burger these people will use same spatula that has been used for beef Pattie’s. Train your employees on cross contamination and asked them stop cutting corners. May your employees use same utensils at home but not everyone want to eat...
