Bathroom had hair in tub & opened soaps i didnt notice until the nxt morning. Day 2 housekeeping tried to enter even with the do not disturb left on door handle. I was never restocked when asked for on day 3. When i expressed i had no toilet paper or towels i was made to wait until 2 pm, many hours later. Spa tub was dirty & not hot. Sauna barely worked. Spa shower was NEVER cleaned (debris on floor) nor the spa tub (noticable dirt ring) in that 3 night stay duration & often no towels stocked in the spa area. The loungers there were rusting & crumbling onto the tile, which was very slippery for water area! The workout room had a broken treadmill. Breakfast was not great & the spiced cube hash browns were gross the cereal dispensers were filthy as were the tables each morning & only 1 waffle maker with a short breakfast time (until 9am) left ppl without. I was told by Ramada i would get a discount but never received it. A lot of the evening staff were trying hard to accommodate but if the other staff were lacking in social skills or communication barriers then they need to be retrained or moved away from customer interaction imo. Way overpriced for lackluster attitudes of the managing staff. What was obviously a gorgeous hotel at start was looking very shabby dirty & run down. Ramada should be embarrassed! (I took some photos but not sure where they were saved as i cant find them at the moment ) If you stay one night some of these things may go unnoticed & wish there was more good i could say. The night desk clerk was awesome & very pleasant & accommodating! They def need better housekeeping & better management before its any further run into the ground. Read moreDisappointed… we got there and the room didn’t look like it was cleaned at all, only made the bed. There was an item left from the previous guest and the kitchen area was dirty. The beds were filled with hair and stains on the bedsheets/pillowcases. The sink was plugged with water, the ice bucket was filled with water from not being emptied at the time of cleaning. We asked them to reclean the room at minimum while we were at dinner because they said they “only had one room left” and it was right by the elevator apparently and not the same room we had booked for. We come back from dinner and again, same spots in the fridge were dirty, they didn’t even look under the sink where the item was left, and I’m pretty sure they didn’t change the sheets, only the duvet covers. The beds still were filled with hair (that was NOT mine) and makeup/black mark stains all over the bedding. We went down to let them know and the excuse was that she didn’t ask questions to know what was in the room, she didn’t clean anything but the counter top and change the sheets. They said they’d do a full clean. The manager gave us a room, that was a slight upgrade in kitchen. There was still some stains on the pillows and a LOUD banging noise from the microwaves outside vent that kept us up. There was no kitchen equipment for a full kitchenette, the tap in the bathroom didn’t turn to hot it just kept cold. Not what we payed for and no where else to go on a booked up long weekend. Read moreThe heating unit was noisy and came on all the time. Bathroom towel rack was rusty and needs replacing. Housekeeping service was bare minimum for a stay. pillows were left on the floor and sheet was thrown back on the bed but blanket was left on the floor. Breakfast bar was not good. Baked goods looked thrown together at last minute, eggs were slimy and sausage was under cooked. Waffle that I made myself and the yogurt was the only edible items. Booked hotel for breakfast but went to Tim Hortons the next day instead. Breakfast Bar host hid in back room anytime a customer came in. Very poor quality. My wife and I decided to go to the whirl pool to relax. In the pool there were holes in the walls from the deck chairs but the main problem was that we wanted to relax in the hot tub and the jets were not working. Decided to use the sauna and that was not working as well. It looks to me that either the hotel ownership/management does not care about their property or it is having money problems to fix these issues. Staff has to notice these issues if clients are.
