Waited about 5 minutes before someone came and brought us to our table. The server came by as soon as we sat down and asked for our order but we were not ready. She did not return, did not get us drinks, did not check on us. My child (13 months) was getting upset as he was hungry, the server walked by but did not check on us as we could have ordered for him. We had to grab another server who stated this was not her area but reluctantly took our order anyways, she also brought my son some milk but did not get us water.
Our server never came back until we got our food. She warned us that the food was hot but it was far from it. The only part our our food that was hot was that which was touching the plate. Food was really delicious but would have been better if it was hot. We still never got any drinks until the manager showed up and got us some water.
The reason for 2 stars is because of the foods taste. It would have been 0 stars due to everything else. Over an hour wait before we got food and about 1 hour 15 minutes until water. RETRAIN YOUR STAFF!
Update
We did not have to wait for a table or for the server to bring anything. Our food showed up quickly but was not what we were expecting. Breakfast BLT was good but the pesto aoili was more of a herb mayo than an actually pesto. My wife ordered the classic eggs Benedict, soft poach, eggs were medium to hard poached and the hollandaise sauce...
Read moreWorld class dining is an absurd claim. Dined for two this evening. Ordered drinks, waited over 15 minutes to be brought. Water was brought and said Caesar’s were ready and sitting, be right back with them. Waited another 10 minutes. Not busy by any means, three other tables with small parties (3 or less). 15 minutes for the first Caesar which was decent but the second one was extremely bitter, like drinking blended citrus rind. We ordered the fish. Waited another 30 or so (too long for fish). Salmon was overcooked, market vegetables undercooked, and skins in the garlic mash. Sauce didn’t go with anything on the plate. Not fine dining in the slightest. Showed up hungry, lost my appetite entirely. Sweet and spicy brussel sprouts ordered by my accompaniment were awful. Flavours did not mesh at all. Codfish was deep fried. After salmon and second round of drinks were taken off the bill, still paid over $50 for fried food and two Caesars at $12 apiece. Including salmon and bad drinks, it would have been over $100. Disappointing, shameful, and just plain bad. Calling it “world class/fine dining” is absolutely criminal. Never...
Read moreWasn't a great value for money. We saw an online menu that said the beef wellington was $38 and it was $64. That was quite the inflation. We had it anyway and the wellington was so great, but the gravy was extremely salty. The staff were kind to us but the supervisors were very passive aggressive with their staff which was very uncomfortable. The ravioli was a very small portion for the price. We also did brunch and had looked forward to a la carte for some of the specials advertised but it was a buffet. They charged $9 for our 1 year old, so I don't think you can call this place family friendly! The breakfast buffet itself had good hashbrowns and eggs Benedict, but had the really cheap sausages that get really wrinkly (even though we were there first thing so they should have been fresh), and literal eggos. Pretty embarrassing for a "fancy" place to serve soggy eggos for their waffle option. However, they had the most incredible croissants at the buffet, better than I've had in Paris. It nearly made up for the rest of the experience. Overall, service, price, food, not sure that this place cracks top 10...
