Temple Garden's Centre — Restaurant in Moose Jaw

In 2020 lot of events got cancelled for COVID. But got refunded from all places smoothly except this one. I never got refunded. It was the ZZ Top - Cheaptrick concert. Exchanged mails for refund from 2020-04-15 to 2020-11-09. Made me fill up forms, kept me waiting, while they played passing the buck with Ticket Rocket. From auto refund they said they gonna do it manually. In the end they were asking me to fill an avidavit with signature of Commisioner of oaths that I didn’t receive any refund yet while they themselves said Ticket Rocket didn’t pay anyone. I wasted a lot of time writing back and forth, but it just kept getting more and more pathetic to the point I didn’t bother anymore. But Im not dealing with this place ever again. Atrocious.

Update: From 1 star , I made it 4 (wanted to put 3.5 but well) as I got in touch with them around August 2023 and Michelle Blakley graciously sent me a SaskTix gift card of the ticket amount which comfortably covered my Skidrow concert tickets (BOGO - sweet deal) and couple of jumbo boxes of buttery popcorn and pop at the same venue. We wanted to attend the gold metal game in Moose Jaw for the Scott Tournament of Hearts. I call a few times and was unsuccessful with getting through. So we proceeded to go online which we dislike but did it anyway. Once we found our seats and entered the payment information I hit enter. Then less than a second later I realized I ordered the wrong tickets. They still had the link for the 11:00am on the site so I ordered tickets for the 11:00am instead of the 6:00pm draw. I ordered these tickets at 1:30pm and still had these tickets for the 11:00am draw available. I called right away. A young girl answered. She gave me attitude, told me she couldn’t do anything then hung up on me. So I called back the next day with no answer, emailed and no response. I finally got a response through Facebook saying they can’t do anything and I won’t be getting my money back. So I would not recommend this place as they are rude, don’t try to help a customer out by making a honest mistake and don’t respond...

It's a nice place. Well layed out and kept clean. I've attended many concerts here and the sound is great.

My problem is with the staff and security. The people who run the concession are rude, for starters. You pay $3.50 for a bottle of water and they take the lid! When I inquired as to why she took the lid, she simply spat "Your lucky you get the bottle, we were pouring them in cups earlier". Apparently the reasoning was that people throw their lids on the ground and it's a slipping hazard, which I understand, sort of. I've been to plenty of other places and have never had my cap taken away. If I'm paying that much for something, that should be provided in a public place for free might I add, I should get to keep the lid. Especially since I then went outside with my new bottle of water, and when I came in they tried to take it from me! They let me out with it and never warned me, or let me leave it with them? Lastly, there is almost no parking, which is really annoying. Hence...
