Can't beat it for the money and the great service and a decent but limited but so low-cost menu. How about a full club sandwich for under $10 in this day and age May 2023? I had the Italian sub with Italian sausage and a soup and fries and it was under $10 as well. What a great little nook that my accountant introduced me to. Decent cheapish meal. Friendly staff, waitress seems to know everyone by name and will ask it if she doesn't. Extensive menu, almost any lunch fare you can imagine hot or cold. Daily specials as well. Drawbacks were there was only 1 waitress doing both table service, counter service and telephone delivery orders so the service was very slow (but friendly and motherish), and the facilities were very cold, drafty and decidedly unattractive. This has got to be the coziest spot to have a taste of delicious home style cooking. Friday’s barbecue chicken is arguably the best in town - hands down. If you’re a fan of burgers and hotdogs- no problem! Wraps, fish’n’chips, pizzas, pasta dishes, you name it - you got it.
