We had called to make sure this restaurant was gluten free, as 1 of our table has Celica disease, they had said yes, they have a partial gluten free menu. THEY DONT. We also made a reservation and when we arrived, the host was pretty rude when he sat us. Our server was ok, for service of food, anything else was severely lacking. Our gluten free guest was finally able to find a dish that was suitable for her allergy, and asked for her chicken burger to be lettuce wrapped. When it came, it was in a supposed gluten free bun, which was stale and her chicken was not cooked through. The server finally came to check on our meals, when almost everyone was already done. She came back and said the "chef" said the chicken was bruised, asked if she wanted another, after the rest of us were done our meals, and she said no. We had 5 children with is (which was stated when we made the reservation) our total time waiting on food was 1.5 hours (approximately) people were seated after us and had food before us and left before us. Yes, we had 9 ppl, but for the restaurant, our food was super easy. (Pizza, burgers, special and salmon) When we asked to see a manger, our server told us ther is no manager. How the heck does a restaurant, on a saturday night, in Jasper, not have a manager?!? She said the chef was in charge and he was too busy to see us and "he would make me cry". Who says this to a customer? First off, I have been in the food service industry for over 20 years, my brother, who was with us, has been in the industry for over 14 years. This is pretty much the worst I have seen for service to customers. We were NOT out to look for a free ride at all. I will never come back here and will advise everyone I know, not...
Read moreI’m finally leaving a review after 4 weeks straight, staying at this hotel and eating most meals here. At first it seems a decent place to eat. The buffet breakfast was good and the steak I had was decent. As I continued to come back, it just kept going down hill. Service is not great at all. Last night and tonight, both different waitresses never came and asked how my meal was. I could even eat my meal last night, it was so terrible. It was the chicken club. I ate half and pushed it aside. No questions asked to why I didn’t finish it or nothing. Tonight I asked for coffee. It was ice cold. I downed it hoping they’d ask me if I wanted a refill. No, never asked. Coffee set empty the entire meal. It seems the staff care more about chit chatting with each other than looking after their customers. The table up by the tv in the lounge seems like a common area for them to hang out and chat with each other.
While I like staying here at the hotel, I think I’ll be finding other places...
Read moreThe Inn Grill is an absolute hidden gem in Jasper. For such a small town, I was blown away by the quality of food they’re serving—it’s fresh, flavorful, healthy, and made with real care. The menu has a ton of variety, with creative dishes that taste like something you’d expect in a big city, not the middle of the Rockies. Prices are fair, portions are generous, and the staff are genuinely warm and welcoming.
What really stood out to me was the kids’ menu. Instead of the usual fried or overly processed options, they offer ultra-healthy choices like grilled chicken, fresh salads, and other wholesome plates that kids actually enjoy. It’s rare to find a restaurant that puts so much thought into kids’ meals, and as a parent, I really appreciated that.
Overall, The Inn Grill completely exceeded my expectations—it’s the kind of place that makes you want to come back again and again. If you’re in Jasper,...
