Multiple times ordered. Tried to clarify order three times at speaker. Was told repeatedly their speaker has issues. It's like this every time. Got to first window. Clarified order two more times. Then second window. Shorted a coffee. Clarified the order again.
I don't even know why I write these reviews on McDonald's. It isn't like management or training or even corporate cares. There is a lack of training. Lack of comprehension, lack of even trying. I clarified my order 3 times at speaker. Next window I clarified order 2 more times. 4 sandwiches 2 coffees.
Next window, handed one coffee. I tell them we ordered 2. Clarified order AGAIN. Get parked for food.
Wait for sandwiches. The come out. 2 not 4.
I go in and correct. Complain to manager You simply don't get your pathetic service mistakes and incompetence affects others.
The blt bagel sandwiches were made sloppy. So much mayo slopped on, literally could not even try to eat without dropping mayo. Guess what. Zero napkins in bags. None. Mess on my clothes and seat. Ridiculous
By the time this cluster is corrected, my kids late for school. I am late for work. It's ridiculous. The lack of communication comprehension, the making excuses, both fir comprehension as well as blaming equipment (one window attendant literally said it was the speakers fault, despite clarifying at window, then again at second window when wrong drink order.
Is there no training? Is there no performance based reviews? Literally taking money, and throwing whatever is handy in a bag and pushing it out a window is NOT customer service.
If a fella could do a zero star, I would.

Read moreI had one of the worst experiences at this McDonald’s (Mary Ellen Drive, Nanaimo) recently and feel the need to share.
I went in wanting to redeem my rewards points. I already knew there might be some issues using the code, so I changed my location before proceeding. By the time I was ready to order, no one was available to assist me at the front counter — despite the fact that I’m visibly pregnant and was standing there for quite a while with no priority or urgency shown from staff.
When someone finally did help me, she seemed unsure of the process. I wanted to redeem two items using rewards points, but she rang them up on the same order, so only one item was covered by the code. The total price she gave me was higher than expected, and when I questioned it, I explained (as someone who also works at McDonald's) that only one code can be applied per order — which means I was likely being charged for the second item.
She was polite and tried to help, but when she asked her coworkers for assistance, no one seemed willing to support her, which made the whole process even more frustrating. In the end, we cancelled the order entirely because it was just too complicated to fix.
To make it worse, when I got home, I saw that 6,000 points had still been deducted from my account — and I didn’t even get the food. That was incredibly frustrating and felt like a complete waste.
Also worth noting: they charge for a cup of tap water, which is highly unusual for McDonald’s (and restaurants in general). It’s the first time I’ve encountered that.

Just now my wrap has all the right ingredients, but ALL the sauce was at the bottem. Not like it migrated under the infuance of gravity. But when i opened up the wrap it was all in one blob at the bottem.
They are batting 7 out of 8 since i moved to Nanaimo last year. Only once have i had my order correct.
I once had 2 bergers mixed and matched.
I am covinced they only serve chrispy chicken and i always order grilled but have never ever received grilled chicken.
Often handed food from servers out the window while not even looking.
Now the obvious solution is to drive a few minutes further to the mcDonalds in Rutherford. But have you ever noticed that the fries are always cold and limp. That said the McD's in wallmart has yet to disappoint, just inconvenient if you are on the move.
So hats off wallmart McD's you are the best...
