Honestly one of the worst customer service places. I was waiting for an answer for a question and while waiting my eyes wandered and I couldn't help but notice giant silver fish climbing all over the service desk and all over the forks and knives. I tried to ask a very detailed question about saag and kheer and boondi raita and she looked at Me like I was insane and was completely unhelpful. I grew up in Abbotsford. I can't tell you how much I miss Abbotsford after having to try to get just a simple order of samosa with regular chutney. Seriously lacking in customer service and menu options. They are not open to getting other people into their food or culture and it really shows by the way I have been treated each time I've TRIED to give them the benefit of the doubt but it is consistently horrible service and unhelpful and unapologetic attitude. If your in the market for that instead of food than you've come to the exact right place. I'd rather just wait till 6 and go to the Hindu temple. At least I know it's good food and I know what it is I'm getting. Which will be roti saag and boodi raita with a side of chia and saffron rice. I will never ever again attempt to order anything from here including directions to the gas station! I can get 10 samosa with 2 portions of chutney for 15 and I can get 4 roti for 2$ They charge you 3$ for 1 and can't even tell you how many is in one order...I'm not paying 3$ for one dang roti at most it should be .50 to .75cents per piece by all means charge that price for Naan but for roti...

If I could give this place 10 stars I would.

I got a delivery for work here two days ago and thought I would would grab a couple Coca Colas while I was here.

It felt really calm and the guy that helped me was super awesome but when I peeked at the menu, I was so shocked!

Everything was dirt cheap. Cheaper than any other Indian Cuisine place in Nanaimo, I had to try it.

Came back today for a butter chicken from the menu, but the guy showed me the all you can eat buffet and let me choose.

I have only had the stereo typical/Americanized foods before, so almost everything in the buffet, I never seen in my life.

I knew it had to be good because these guys clearly weren't at work, they were at their passion and clearly knew what they were doing, so I bit the bullet and tried a little of everything.

Never ordering the butterchicken anywhere again. This was some of the best food I had in so many years and I don't even remember any of the names of the dishes.

I had to leave a $20 tip on the $20 buffet charge. 100% tip is what this place deserves (though they obviously never mentioned a tip).

I will be back next Saturday! I'm going to be looking forward to...

last year I visited this restaurant the food was like 2/3 days old...now after a year I wanted to give them another shot, I ordered 3 dishes and guess what...

their food was so bad I just threw it out due to my concern I might get food poisoning...the chicken was so hard you could bang it on table and it would bounce back....terrible food...be very cautious with this guys....last time for me for sure.

I called them to see their explanation, and they were saying it was fresh come on ....a fresh food is not that hard that you cant chew....terrible service...lack of responsibility...

I told them I will report them to food inspection authority and that's what will happen...someone needs to look their kitchen and what they serve people...bunch of thieves and irresponsible people feeding your customers with old food...how can you do that and expect and accept also tips???

please please people drive few km and go visit Spice Hut in Ladysmith much much better food....and so fresh...
