A&W Canada — Restaurant in Nelson

Beyond slow . 25 minutes waiting in line for order inside the restaurant . Then finly asking for my money back to go else where . The manager was confused as yo why even though he could see the building line and tables waiting for orders . Wrongcorders were handed yo people . When I was asking the manager more than 3 times for my money I would just go else where my order arrived . My husband's meal was on the tray mine was not , I had paid for it and it was still on the order screen and he asked me just what was a missing from the order while looking at it and reading the screen .4 times he asked what was wrong with my order . I ended up almost yelling it and demanding my cash . The look on several other customers face was one of good for you and I'm next . Went to the mall and had A&W there . Food was hot and served in 5 min . Drive through is an unmitigated joke. 1 star just so I could post this otherwise 00"s . Been using this A& W for almost 20 years and all it new renovations have left it useless for food service apparently. Not just one bad service experience , too many in recent times to count . Not going back . Food is only conveinat after work no good enough to experience this . Oh and we were not even in the drive through lane we went indoors...

I always buy coffee atleast 2 times a day. Today i just went to buy one and usually they put honey inside the coffee as i requested. But today they gave me on side so i asked for some water as well bcoz i usually spill honey so i need water to wash my hand after. But i realised that the coffee was cold maybe it was kept there coz the drive thru was busy. When i mentioned that the lady there told me "did you put cold water in the coffee" insted of apologizing for the coffee. When i ask do you really think that.? She replied i don't know. Is this even a question to ask from someone.? I felt it disrespected maybe because of me being international. Anyways i am not even sure if this review even get anyone's attention. I am from hospitality industry and i know and respect the fact that this is not the way to speak with customers. Being student i also got an opportunity to get to work there but i am glad that i didn't joined as i can't work in an environment where the customer are disrespected...

Clean store, good food, as expected. What made this a great experience was the service. Staff accommodated our family of 9 with ease. Kids changing orders was dealt with in stride, the orders were all correct, tables were moved together so we could sit as a family. To top it off, after we got our order, and were seated, somebody in the drive thru changed their oder after it was made. Rather than throwing it out, a staff member brought the changed order to us rather than throwing it out! My dad, who only ordered fries, got a free uncle burger. A food establishment that would rather give away free food than throw it out is top-notch in my books. Thanks for a great...
