Went through drive through early morning to get myself an earl grey tea and my wife an ice coffee. No lineup ahead or behind me, but took about 8 minutes to make both drinks no food or anything else. Then the ice coffee for my wife had zero amount of any type of sweetener or base product, which unless we are wrong, we were under the assumption that a sugar cane base, or another form of base is to be added as that is how all the other tim Hortons we've been to does ice coffee, we've even have been told at a Halifax store once when they were out of cane base and if we wanted a different base or something else. Then ironically my tea, which was 2 milk 2 sweetener tasted as if it had 4 sweeteners in it, not to be a grumpy Guss, but kinda crappy way to start the day when the morning coffee and tea are so terrible tasting we couldn't drink either. Girl at the window was very polite and friendly, but seemed to maybe have trouble with English as it is apparent that English may be a second language to her. I have also just heard this location may be affiliated with the wolfville location and as such the disappointing service and purchased products doesn't seem as surprising as we've had such terrible experience at that location we have stopped going to the wolfville store a long time ago. Will most likely be switching to a different coffee and tea vendor for the...
Read moreI'm a regular at this location and usually I can say the service is very friendly, although it can be a bit busy in there sometimes the workers work with fairly decent pace. However, the server at the window today (2:00pm) was pretty disrespectful. I ordered a cold brew and when she handed it to me I could tell right off the bat, it didn't look like my usual order. Normally I would've just taken the loss and accepted the drink, but a LG is nearly $6, so instead I requested a new one. "Excuse me, I ordered a cold brew" she responded "it is a cold brew." I looked at my drink and back again at her and said "it looks like an iced coffee" and she responded with "it's a cold brew I make it myself." In hindsight her response is kind of funny, not because of her condescending tone, but because it's one of the only drinks on the menu you can tell by looking at it whether or not is had been made correctly or not. I understand mistakes happen and to me, it's no big deal but I'm extremely frustrated that I had to come in the restaurant to ask someone else to remake my drink, because the woman was more inclined to argue with me rather than correct a simple mistake. When I came into the restaurant the rest of the staff were quick to accommodate me and friendly while doing so, which I appreciate because I...
Read moreI moved to New Minas 7 yrs ago and was happy to see there was a Tim's nearby After many attempts of getting a meal and most were wrong l stopped going to this location I have ordered from Wolfville, Kentville Windsor, Halifax and not one time was there a problem. I recently began going to New Minas again to the drive through for lunch etc but nothing has changed, I have the same sandwich each time, a ham and cheddar, no lettuce, not toasted. Does this sound like a complicated order? A couple of hours ago l went to the drive through, ordered the sandwich When l got home the bread was toasted so much it was burned. There was pieces of tomato and no mayonnaise I couldn't eat it! I don't know what can be changed but when I take it out of the bag it falls apart, probably because there is no mayonnaise, maybe, but any other location it's not a problem That's twice this week alone. You probably will say l should have gotten a receipt but who thinks to for a 7 dollar sandwich? I could go on but hopefully you will look into this...
