Burger King — Restaurant in Newmarket

They so-called manager that worked on February 11 at 6:15 PM is very rude very ignorant. Very disgusting. Has no customer service skills whatsoever. He cuts off his employees while they are explaining orders to customers. When I told him, he was rude for cutting off an employee discussing my order to make sure everything is correct. He insisted on raising his voice at me like he was God because he has a management title at a Burger King, this person would not give me his name so obviously he is not a proud manager and obviously not proud of the way. He talked to a customer as he refused to give his name but you know who you are the owner of the Burger King in Newmarket on Harry Walker Drive Needs to take a good look at who he hasn’t management positions. I have never ever been to a restaurant and have been treated so poorly and disrespected so badly until Sunday night I will take my business to Bradford Burger King before I come near the Newmarket one ever again this saddens me as I was so excited to see a Burger King come to the Newmarket area , but when you have young kids, maybe mid 20s as a manager and has no customer service relations experience and wants to turn away business because he is in the wrong this is disgusting and this is a very badly run company. Head office needs to take this seriously the owner of the Newmarket location needs to take this seriously as I will never ever recommend anyone to come to this location and your doors will close as they have in the past. Me, my wife and son Decided to go out and grab some quick take out, my wife and I ordered our food from Thai express which is in the same plaza as burger King, we paid for our food at Thai express and told them we would be back in a few minutes to pick it up.

My son wanted burger king so we went through the drive thru, long story short we were in the drive thru for 50 minutes and still hadn't ordered, we wanted to just leave at this point without placing an order, but we couldn't because there is a cement island blocking the way for us to exit the drive thru, so we were forced to sit there and wait......when we finally got to the window we just drove off.

50 minutes in the drive thru I can't imagine how much longer if we actually waited on the food, so we left, but not before glancing into the store and noticing it wasn't busy inside at all, and only a few cars in the drive thru.

By the time we picked up our food at Thai express, it was 10 mins from closing and the food was cold, the guy didn't think we were coming back for it.

I should mention this was the second time within a couple of months this has happened to us at this burger king location, but we thought it was a onetime thing and decided to return, clearly whoever owns this location has no idea how to operate a fast food restaurant.

I, like so many others, was so excited to see a Burger King coming to our city and I couldn't wait to try it. My first visit was a complete bomb. The staff were extremely confused and unprepared and the food was horrible! Everything was overcooked and dry as sawdust. I chocked that up to it being new and a bit of a learning curve, so I gave it some time. I went back today, after a couple months, excited to try the butter chicken sandwich. It was absolute rubbish. The driest chicken I've ever eaten. I think it was probably sitting under the warmer for a few hours. It was topped with one ring of onion and some butter chicken sauce squirted into the center. I also ordered onion rings...again, Extremely overcooked and dry! I gave it a couple tries and decided that I will NOT be back ever. I've loved BK for years and always found it a treat when we found a location to order from but The franchise should be ashamed of this branch....
