Chose this place for Valentine's Day based on the good reviews and was quite disappointed. The evening started out great - hostess was quick to greet us and was pleasant. We're accustomed to having someone come over and take a drink and appetizer order first - not everything at once. Sure, they might have been busy for the occasion but the place isn't exactly huge and that is something you can anticipate and prepare for.
It was absolutely freezing (yes, a very cold night but again something you can anticipate and prepare for). The one couple next to us asked to move further from the door and three other couples including us were putting jackets on which should have been more than enough of an indication to the staff to address the issue but nothing was done. One guest even tried to fiddle with a space heater close to us himself. The staff reacted in surprise and a little attitude toward the couple who asked to move.
Service was slow. Our second glasses of wine with dinner were forgotten. Nobody came to check on us to see if we were enjoying our meals until we were nearly finished (which was our first opportunity to remind them about our wine). Manicotti was excellent but the seafood in the pasta dish we ordered seemed "off". Definitely not fresh.
We were super impressed by the bus boy (had lots of time to observe as we were sitting there for longer than we should have been). He was a ninja with refilling guests water and coming over with cheese and pepper. Hopefully he and the hostess get tipped out for their hard work.
With so many other Italian options around, with fresh made pasta to boot - we personally will not be returning or recommending to anyone. Sadly I wish our experience was better as it seems to be a desirable spot. Go spend your money at Joia in...

My recent visits to Orsini for lunch were a pleasant culinary experience worth sharing. On both occasions, I opted for different pasta dishes and found the overall atmosphere, service, and food to be quite satisfying.
During my first visit, I enjoyed the seafood linguine with oil sauce. The pasta was cooked to a delightful al dente texture, providing a good foundation for the dish. The oil sauce was well-balanced, not too heavy, allowing the flavors of the seafood to shine through. The selection of seafood was fresh and added a nice touch to the overall composition.
On my second visit, I tried the pasta of the day, featuring a vegetable sauce. Once again, the pasta was cooked just right. The vegetable sauce, a mix of seasonal veggies, offered a lighter alternative. While not overly intricate, it showcased the freshness of the ingredients and made for a satisfying meal.
The service at Orsini was notably friendly and attentive. The staff, including the person serving us, provided helpful recommendations and ensured our needs were met throughout the meal. It was a nice touch that added to the overall positive experience.
The atmosphere at Orsini was relaxed, making it an ideal spot for a leisurely lunch. The cozy setting and subtle ambiance contributed to a comfortable dining experience without being too formal.
In summary, Orsini offers a solid dining experience with well-prepared pasta dishes, friendly service, and a laid-back atmosphere. While not an over-the-top culinary extravaganza, it's a reliable choice for those seeking a satisfying pasta meal in a relaxed setting. I would comfortably rate Orsini as a solid five stars for its consistent performance in delivering a pleasant...
Read moreI'm writing comments here not because of the foods but the female owner's attitude. The lady treated customers unfairly made me feel shame of her. Yesterday was a Valentine's Day. I went there with my husband without reservation. The lady told all tables were reserved (without placing the reserved tag on table), the only table available was next to the front door. We could only accept it as it's almost 8pm & I believed it's fully booked like the other restaurants. After couple minutes, another couple walked in to the restaurant without making any reservation, she leaded them to the other table inside. So did the other few couples came after me. There were at least 7 or more tables available when the time I came. I wanted to ask the lady why she treated customers differently. My hubby asked me not to be angry & ruined our mood to enjoy the Valentine's dinner. He said just gave less tips. I didn't agree as the server was good. I told to the server my gut feeling when I paid the bill & he said he couldn't say something as the lady boss would scold him. As a business owner, you should treat customers fairly unless there are some trouble customers. I do hope the female owner can read this comment & do some reflections. I didn't complain to her directly but I will not go to this...
