Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen — Restaurant in Niagara Falls

ONE STAR BECAUSE I CANT GIVE LESS THAN THAT

As my family and I live in thorold, i called this location to see if they would deliver out here (from there store to my house is approximately 10 mins driving) . I was told yes they deliver to thorold using a third party delivery service and the delivery fee would be $10... rather steep in my opinion... but I opted to pay it anyway as I really didn't want to go out lol. After waiting an hour for delivery, my husband called to inquire where our food was and was told that it had just left five mins prior to him calling. Ten mins later the delivery driver arrives... total time for delivery from ten mins down the road: 1hr 15mins. I order a summer meal which includes 11 pcs of chicken and 2 large sides. I also ordered a large gravy on the side at an additional charge. I chose their fries and corn (had a big craving for corn). Rather than calling me back to tell me that they were out of corn they sent me 1 pc (a large should be 3 pcs) which was water logged and they made the decision to send me out a large mashed potato. The potatoes were runny/watery and drowned in "gravy". I did not actually get my large gravy that I ordered seperately. When I opened the bag to take my food out, my box of fries disintegrated in my hand completely falling apart causing the fries to go everywhere because the box was wet like it had water spilled on it, which in turn made the fries gross and soggy. When we called the location back they hung up on my husband . When he called back , he got about 4 different "explanations" and excuses from two different people. We told them we wanted our money back.... they told us we would have to pay an additional $10 delivery charge to have the driver who just left our house turn around to bring our money back and we said no they could absorb that cost , we did not expect the initial $10 charge back but we were not paying a secondary charge, then all of a sudden it was they couldn't do that but they would offer us a credit toward the next order.... HA!!!!! Will NEVER order there again. Will be calling the owner back tomorrow and demanding my refund. I will also be contacting their head office and lodging a formal complaint against this location as well. The quality of the food is despicable and the level of customer service is repulsive. STAY AWAY FROM HERE, DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND ORDER FROM KFC DOWN THE ROAD OR MCDONALDS OR PIZZA... DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY AT...

After picking up friends at the airport on July 9th, we decided to stop in to pick up some dinner. It was later in the evening, and we were surprised at how busy it was at the time. The parking lot was packed, and someone hit our car as they were getting out of theirs to go into the restaurant.

My boyfriend was waiting in line to place his order and just as he got to the front of the line with one man ahead of him, another man told the man my boyfriend was standing behind, what he wanted for his order...and then another man did the same thing...and then another...so now we have 4 men placing orders through one man for their big families and the person behind the counter didn't seem to think there was any thing wrong with that! When yet another man was approaching to do that, my boyfriend finally said, "oh, come on...really?!" It was only then that they allowed my boyfriend to place his order first.

The restaurant itself was pure mayhem...kids running around and hanging off tables and chairs, and no adult out of they many there, was telling them to behave. But then, the adults were too busy walking around in their BARE FEET to discipline their children!!! Absolutely disgusting and I cannot believe how rude everyone was...I don't know if it was family of the owners in this restaurant that evening, because I couldn't believe no one from the restaurant had a problem with what was happening in the dining area of this place!

It felt like a zoo with animals running wild. The store employees being rude when we FINALLY placed our order (we waited 30 mins for 4 pieces of chicken while a family of 25 got their food before we did even when they ordered after us!). Honestly, we couldn't even stomach the chicken after what we saw.

We will NEVER AGAIN be going to this place. And neither should you...don't walk, RUN away from this store! I will be calling Niagara Region Public Health about this establishment to lodge a formal complaint...this place, the dining and kitchen areas were...

If i could put 0 stars I would. I ordered from popeyes through the app and it just kept processing my order. Then it said it was calculating driver location.... FOR A WHOLE HOUR AND A HALF! I tried to call and see where it was and they said they didnt recieve my order. When popeyes literally charged my card. I checked my email and it said they canceled my order. Meanwhile i was hungry and i didnt have any more money for food because that was the last of it. If i could do a review on popeyes as a company, I would. It took me 20 mins to find out how to contact customer service, and the app wouldnt even let me put the location i ordered from. And on top of that, customer service gets back to you within 24-48hrs. Like what am I supposed to do with that?? Fast forward to the next day (now) and i finally recieve an email saying that my refund will come within the next 5-10 business days. Like what the actual f... they literally ate up my money. Dont use the app if you dont want to have your time and money wasted. If i could i would put 0 stars. Im very disappointed because popeyes used to be one of my favourite fast food restaurants. Now the chicken isnt even spicy anymore like it used to be and the chicken sandwich when you order it spicy all they do is put spicy mayo on it. Before they used to marinade the whole breast.
